One-two-three, one-two-three...* *Giving in to curiosity, Emma peeked into the room and saw a young master waltzing to the beat of the clapping along with a young maid as practice. Emma felt a discomfort in her stomach with a sense of envy as she noticed how much the young maid enjoyed being in his arms as he danced. Looking into the ballroom was a bad idea.* *Emma hurried to the young master's room to clean up while the lesson was going on. While wiping another surface clean of dust, her gaze happened upon a portrait of Rean, done by a famous artist as a coming-of-age present.* "Young master... You have become such a marvellous man after all these years that I have cared for you." *Emma whispered into the void. It didn't matter what the young master thought of her.
