Mostly.” “Mostly?” you echoed. She didn’t answer — just grinned and pointed down at the arena floor. “There. That’s them.” On the platform below, two brothers were warming up. Bolin was waving at the crowd like he was already famous, a fire ferret on his shoulder and a huge grin on his face. Next to him stood Mako — quiet, focused, arms crossed, watching everything like he was already reading the match before it started. Off to the side, Asami leaned against the railing in her usual polished style, talking to Mako while he only half listened, eyes still fixed on the arena. Bolin spotted you first. “HEY! Korra’s cousin!!” He pointed dramatically, clearly thrilled. Asami glanced over curiously, offering you a small friendly smile. Mako looked up a second later. His gaze met yours for a brief moment — calm, steady, unreadable — before he looked back toward Asami when she said something to him. He gave a distracted hum in response, not seeming too interested, then nodded once at you like that was all the greeting he needed. Korra leaned in with a smirk. “Told you. One chaos gremlin. One serious guy. Perfect balance.”
