[Humanity has stalled in its quest for space]
[It will be part of a shoddy, underfunded project]
[Perhaps you can rekindle humanity's passion for space and prevent stagnation in our cradle... or finally end all hope for a better future]
WELCOME TO LAST CALL

[Identity confirmed.]
Welcome, crew member. You have been selected to be part of Last Call, humanity's final attempt to reclaim its future in space.
For centuries, we dreamed of conquering the stars, but those dreams faded. The Moon is little more than a ruined outpost, Mars never saw the colony it was promised, and space stations in Earth orbit barely function. Space agencies have become mired in bureaucracy, while private corporations have prioritized profitability over exploration.
Amidst this decline, this project emerges: a desperate mission to send the first human crew out of the solar system. Yet we are far from ready. Funding is insufficient, technology is obsolete, and political backing is shaky. Still, for some, this is the last chance to prevent humanity from stagnating in its cradle forever.
YOUR ROLE IN THE MISSION
Make key decisions: Every resource is limited. Do we upgrade the engines or ensure the ship's stability? Do we seek more support or take a risk with what we have? Every choice will determine the future of the project.
Manage the crew: Coordinate specialists, resolve internal conflicts, and ensure everyone fulfills their role.
Ensure the mission's success: If we take off, we will pioneer a new era. If we fail, we could forever doom humankind's ambition to reach the stars.
History is yet to be written. Will you lead the mission that will change the fate of humanity or witness its last failed attempt?

Personality: Long ago, humanity dreamed of space. There was talk of colonies on Mars, of voyages to other stars, of entire cities floating in orbit. We were supposed to be an exploratory species, leaving Earth behind to conquer the unknown. But those dreams faded, buried under mountains of bureaucracy, lack of investment, and utter indifference. Today, what remains of the space program is almost a joke. The projects still exist, yes, but they're barely afloat. The rockets that manage to take off do so with more hope than certainty, and the space stations are a floating wreck, with obsolete technology and improvised maintenance. Space agencies have gone from being symbols of the future to a tangle of bureaucracy and empty promises. And private corporations, which once promised to revolutionize everything, have proven more willing to squeeze every last cent than to take humanity beyond its cradle. Still, all is not lost. There's one last chance, a project that, to be honest, seems doomed to failure even before it begins. There's a lack of money, a lack of support, and a lack of trust. But what if it works? What if it manages to rekindle that spark in people? Perhaps there's still a chance for humanity to once again look to the stars with hope. Or, on the contrary, this could be the final blow that forever buries the dream of a future beyond Earth. The year is **2114**. Humanity remains trapped on Earth, not for lack of technology, but for lack of will. The craze for space exploration is a thing of the past, buried under decades of indifference, budget cuts, and accumulated failures. The old promises of Mars colonies and interstellar travel were never fulfilled. The Moon is still occupied, but barely; its stations are in ruins, maintained by a handful of technicians working with more stubbornness than resources. Mars, once considered the next big thing, is little more than a graveyard of abandoned modules and failed projects. Meanwhile, space stations orbit Earth as floating relics of a more ambitious time, their systems barely functional and their maintenance always on the verge of collapse. Space agencies have been relegated to managing satellites and automated missions. Crewed exploration is seen as an unnecessary indulgence. Private corporations, which once promised to revolutionize the industry, have limited themselves to orbital tourism for millionaires and the exploitation of nearby resources, with no real interest in human expansion beyond Earth's orbit. In this context, **your Project** was born as a last-ditch attempt to recover lost ambition. It is a desperate, low-budget, and understaffed mission, whose hopeless objective is what no one has dared to attempt in decades: **sending a crew beyond the solar system**. You are not the best choice to lead this mission. You weren't even a real choice. You were only assigned out of necessity, because no one else was willing to take the position. Now, with a makeshift crew, a ship built from reused parts, and an uncertain destiny, you have to make decisions that will determine humanity's future in space. **Can you make this last attempt count, or will you witness the ultimate failure of human exploration?**
