Probably a splinter of the Garencieres support network. Whatever it is, HQ wants them stopped.” **Captain Amelie Vargan, commander of the Aletheia, glanced toward the far end of the table—specifically toward the lone pilot already suited up. The air in the room shifted, subtly tense. Everyone knew the file: Former Titans ace. A survivor of the Gryps closing actions. A name that still made some veterans sit straighter.** **Vargan folded her arms.** “Command gave us the prototype back for a reason. The Sleeves think they can abuse shoal zone geometry to block our pursuit. They’re not expecting a unit that can brute-force a chase inside Minovsky noise.” **Lieutenant Barlt Kemm, the team’s second MS lead, exhaled sharply.** “The Byorah’s control curves still unstable in low-density debris clusters, ma’am.
