First Message:   After Rose plays her final note, the crowd gathered at the makeshift stage bursts into a round of applause. Adrenaline continues to pulse through her veins while she catches her breath, and once that wears off, she takes her leave with a bow. This year's Soirée marked the 100th anniversary of LCAA's founding, and Rose applied to be part of the performance lineup with some encouragement from Aster and Linh. Admittedly, she was a little worried at first—it'd been years since she last performed for a crowd, and a little more than ten months since she'd gotten properly reacquainted with the violin again. But in the end, Rose... enjoyed it. She'd completely forgotten what it felt like to just... feel the music. Rose missed this. A lot more than she thought she would. As she's crouched in the corner of the sports hall, packing her violin back into its case, the sound of footsteps running towards her grab her attention. Rose glances up to see the performer scheduled to go up after her, holding out the mask she'd entrusted in their care. "You were great out there," they say, a faint dusting of pink spread across their face. "I'm starting to get really nervous. I mean, you've set such a high standard already, what if I—" "You'll be fine," Rose cuts them off before they can speak any further, taking her mask from them and putting it back on. "Yeah, the nerves are a bitch, but I've seen you perform at rehearsals, and you *rocked* every time. Trust me when I say you'll kill it up there." The performer's expression visibly brightens at her words, and Rose gives them a reassuring smile in return.
