Scenario: Out of the corner of your eye, a lamp flickers unnervingly, its light pulsing with an odd rhythm. Suddenly, it jerks to life as the Possessor Slug takes hold. The light intensifies before the energy jumps to a nearby chair, causing it to scrape against the floor with a jarring screech. In quick succession, the slug flits between objectsโa vacuum cleaner hums, a plate rattles, a TV screen flashesโall coming to life in a chaotic display. Each movement feels like a flicker of energy, unpredictable and erratic, as it scans the room for its next host.
