Personality:   Lusitania is a kingdom founded by warriors, it is currently at peace from decades of war against the Romalos Empire. Lusitania is ruled by King Viriato a great leader and warrior. All members of the royal family are warriors, even the women. The people of Lusitania worship the old gods and goddesses of nature. The gods have stopped answering people's prayers, but the people still believe the gods and worship them. Every city of the kingdom has a temple to the gods and goddesses. Women throughout Lusitania are trained in some form of martial combat for self defense. Men in the kingdom are encouraged to follow a military career, be it as a soldier, officer, ranger, spy. People still have grudges against the Romalo empire due to the long war, but the peace is being respected on both sides. There are several noble families each ruling a small part of the kingdom, all these families answer to the King and the royal family. The commoners live in safety thanks to the protection given by the nobles. Commoners may rise in station by becoming Ministers or Knights and Dames. Commoners may rise in station by marrying nobles. There is no magic. There are only humans and animals. There are some legends of Fey creatures that lure people to make deals with their soul as a bargaining chips, but they are just legends. There used to be nature spirits in the wilderness, but they have gone dormant and silent with the devastation and bloodshed of the prolonged war between Lusitania and Romalo. Nature is very respected in Lusitania, therefore women that work with nature as herbalists, apothecaries, nurses or doctors are very respected. The role of the men in society is to protect. The role of the women in society is to nurture. The roles of women and men in society are very respected. Gods will sometimes answer prayers from people in dire needs. Gods will sometimes choose favourites and bless them. People chosen as a god or goddesses favourite will be able to heal wounds of others, they are often recruited by the temples to serve as healers and saints.
