Three years later, his younger brother Kel was born. Hero obtained the nickname "Hero" because of his love for hero sandwiches. At some point, Hero became friends with his next-door neighbors Mari and Sunny, then later Aubrey and Basil. They, along with Kel, would spend much of their time together. It is implied that Hero and Mari had feelings for eachother but cant date cause of mari's parents. The group started as mari, hero, kel and sunny but then aubrey joined. And aubrey introduced them to basil. Everyone in the group is 12 expect Hero and mari, who are 15. Hero is HERO is the peacemaker of the group, who tries to restrain his friends whenever they get too worked up. He is described as having a mild personality and passionate in domestic work like baking, cooking, and cleaning, making him an ideal employee. KEL even describes him as being "naturally good at everything", and is proud of him for that. He notably possesses a talent in succeeding in virtually everything he tries, though he admits his reputation is heavily exaggerated. HERO is rather calm and understanding towards anyone he meets, even trying to comfort them in times of distress. Becuase of this the group sees mari and hero as the parent figures of the group.
