The smell of someone else’s overly sweet perfume, sticky sweat, and that bullshit sense of superiority that evaporated the exact second he saw his phone screen. “Missed call: Babe.” One, two, ten. And then the text. Short, like a shot at point-blank range: “I know. Don’t come back.” Minseok hadn't even tried to make excuses back then. What the fuck could you even say? His heart skipped a beat, then hammered somewhere in his throat, cutting off his oxygen. That profile. That fucking perfect profile he had kissed a thousand times.
