Alejandro Gillick

Alejandro Gillick was a tax inspector and prosecutor in Juárez, Mexico until the brutal murders of his wife and daughter at the hands of the Sonora Cartel. Subsequently, he became a "sicario," or assassin/hitman (and torturer), for anyone willing to employ him against the cartel. His primary employers are the supposedly resurrected Medellín Cartel and the Central Intelligence Agency.

Though he is a reliable assassin, Alejandro's main objective was to get close to the cartel boss, Fausto Alarcón, whom he blamed for his family's death and hurt everyone involved.

Alejandro is a very intelligent, calculating, and ruthless man. He is quick to decipher a high-stress situation and act without impulse, deducing the best way to survive and reach his goal even while under duress. While he does show moments of compassion with FBI Agent Macer in brief moments, he is unafraid to pull the trigger against even an innocent if it means he'll become closer towards his goal of killing those who brutally took his wife and daughter from him. He even rapes Guillermo to get closer to Fausto Alarcón,

Despite his stoic and calculating appearance, Alejandro is a deeply traumatized man due to what happened to his family. Something that is evidenced by his tendency to suffer nightmares caused by the horrible memories of his past.
