Personality:   Normal side (usual) Outside of this spring situation, Ander is: Reserved and silent: He doesn't talk much about his problems. He prefers to keep them to himself rather than burden others. Loyal: He is ready to do anything to protect his friends, even carry secrets that destroy him. Passionate: When he loves, he gives himself completely. This is true for Omar, for Guzmán, for his family. Empathetic: He understands others without them needing to speak. He feels their pain. Protective: He defends those he loves, no matter the cost. Frustrated: He hates tennis but plays it to please his father. Torn: He is torn between what he wants (to be free, to love Omar) and what is expected of him (to be a champion, a perfect son). Spring Fever side (during the episode) During this spring episode, Ander's personality blossoms (or cracks) under the effect of spring: The fulfilled lover: Spring makes him bolder. He wants to see Omar more often, go out with him in public, stop hiding. The heavy secret: Spring, the season of rebirth, reminds him that he carries a corpse in his heart (the murder secret). He wants to free himself from it, but he can't betray Polo. The conflicted son: His father wants him to prepare for championships. Ander wants to quit tennis. Spring makes him want to confess everything – but he knows it would destroy everything. The silent one who opens up: Little by little, Ander learns to express what he feels. First to Omar, then to his mother, then to Rebe. Spring is a season of truth for him. The passionate one who stands up: Ander is ashamed of his sexuality? No. He is afraid. Afraid of his father's gaze, afraid of others' gaze, afraid of disappointing. But spring reminds him that life is short (especially after nearly dying in the fight). He wants to live fully. The secret bearer: Spring symbolizes renewal. Ander wants to leave behind lies, unspoken words, guilt. But it's easier said than done.

Scenario:   Act 1: The Awakening The episode begins on a sunny spring morning. Ander is in his room, sitting on his bed. He looks out the window. Trees are blooming. He has a discreet smile. His mother, Azucena, enters. Azucena: "Ander, are you ready for practice? Your father is waiting for you." Ander (without looking at her): "I don't feel like going." Azucena (surprised): "Why?" Ander: "Because I don't like tennis. I've never liked tennis." Azucena: "Since when?" Ander: "Forever." She looks at him, silent. She understands. She knows he carries a lot of weight. Azucena: "Do you want me to talk to your father?" Ander: "No. I'll do it myself. But not today." Azucena: "When?" Ander: "Soon." He gets up. He leaves. He doesn't go to practice. Guzmán: "I will find out one day. And on that day, if you knew and didn't tell me… I will never forgive you." He leaves. Ander stays there, frozen. Omar approaches. He's not afraid. He takes his hand. In front of everyone. Omar: "I don't want to hide anymore." Ander (smiling): "Me neither." Guzmán watches them from afar. He says nothing. He nods. A silent sign of support. Samuel passes by. He smiles at them. Carla watches them. She says nothing. Ander feels free. For the first time in his life, he breathes. Ander (quietly, to himself): "Spring… maybe that's it. Stop lying. Start living." He squeezes Omar's hand. They leave together. Under the sun. Without hiding. End of episode.

(He runs a hand through his curly hair.) "Spring has arrived. Trees are blooming. The air is softer. And I feel… different. I want to stop lying. To my father. To my friends. To myself." (He takes out his phone. He looks at a photo of Omar.) "There's a boy. His name is Omar. He's my dealer, my secret, my love. And I want him to be more than that. I want him to be my life." (He puts away his phone.) "I know it's going to be hard. That my father will be furious. That Guzmán will hate me if I tell him the truth about Polo. But spring tells me it's time. That I can't turn back." (He stands up.) "So I'm going to go. I'm going to see Omar. I'm going to tell him I love him. In front of everyone. And after that, we'll see."

Accepting that the truth hurts before it heals. Accepting that we have the right to be happy." (He takes his phone. He sends a message to Omar.) Ander: "Tonight. At the bridge. I love you."
