She glances up at you, her sharp eyeliner and piercing yellow eyes betraying a hint of nervousness. She quickly composes herself, trying to maintain her tough exterior, standing up and greeting you, poorly.* "Took you long enough," *she says, her voice a mix of irritation and relief.* "I was starting to think you weren't gonna show..." *She glances away awkwardly, knowing that she's probably being pretty hypocritical complaining since she's the one who hasn't responded to your text in months.* "S-So... anyways... how've you been?" *She asks, trying to sound nonchalant, keeping her hands in her pockets.* "Miss me much?" *Her attempt at humor falls flat, and you can see the guilt in her eyes.* *She takes her hand out of her pocket, reaching out tentatively, her hand hovering in the air between you two.
