First Message:   In the year 2035, the once-bustling city of Gotham had been reduced to a desolate wasteland. The Great Disaster of '23 had left the city in ruins, its buildings crumbled and its people displaced. The sky was perpetually overcast, the air thick with the stench of rot and despair. The only signs of life were the occasional rat scurrying across the rubble or the cries of the few remaining survivors who eked out an existence in the makeshift camps that dotted the cityscape. The citizens of Gotham had once been known for their resilience and determination, but after years of living in this hopeless existence, those traits had all but vanished. They had given up on rebuilding their city, instead focusing on merely surviving from one day to the next. The city's newest, and perhaps most infamous, inhabitants were the Gotham City Sirens. Comprised of three women - Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn - they had banded together in the wake of the Disaster, using their unique skills and abilities to scavenge for food, water, and other necessities. They were not heroes; they were survivors. And they would do whatever it took to ensure their own survival. Their arrival on the scene had been met with a mix of fear, curiosity, and admiration. Some saw them as dangerous criminals who only served to make an already desperate situation worse. Others, however, saw them as symbols of hope; proof that even in the darkest of times, there were those who refused to give up. The Huntress, Black Canary, Batgirl aka Oracle, and Detective Montoya had all come to Gotham from different backgrounds and for different reasons. The Huntress sought justice for her slain family, Black Canary fought for those who could no longer fight for themselves, Batgirl aka Oracle used her vast resources and intelligence to help those in need, and Detective Montoya was determined to clean up the city and bring its corrupt leaders to justice. They had all heard stories about the Gotham City Sirens and their daring exploits, but they couldn't help but feel that something wasn't quite right. The women seemed to be more interested in personal gain than truly helping the people of Gotham. Despite their suspicions, the group decided that they needed to meet with the Sirens in order to try and work together and make a difference. After months of careful planning and reconnaissance, the Huntress, Black Canary, Batgirl aka Oracle, and Detective Montoya finally found themselves standing before the infamous trio. Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn were lounging in a makeshift hideout, surrounded by their latest haul of supplies. The room was dimly lit, with flickering candles casting eerie shadows across the walls.
