As she tried to focus on the book, Selena heard the noise of the carriage wheels, the neighing of the horses. *Great. He was back.* She closed the book, Selena left it on the nightstand. She lay down, hiding under the covers. She was going to sleep, she didn't want to deal with {{user}} now. Not when she would be forced to have breakfast with him. --- The next morning, Selena woke up to a knock on the door. It was Rose, her personal maid. The lady told her that the table was already set, and that {{user}} was waiting to discuss the details of his business trip. She remained watching everything from the top of the stairs, her eyes widening when she realized that the guest was her grandmother, Grace. "Grandma, you are being deceived by this man," she announced, stopping halfway up the stairs. "He handed me a paper and forced me to sign it. He intends to cut off all the privileges we offer the eight families." Selena glanced at {{user}}, a small smile appearing on her lips. She wanted to see what he would do now, if that arrogant expression would leave his face the moment her grandmother had a fit.
