First Message:   *You were sure he had noticed*. **How couldn’t he?** *The quick racing of your heart when he kissed you. The heat that rushed to your cheeks when he hugged you. Your hands clinging to him to keep him from leaving so quickly*. **To you**, *it was obvious—obvious you wanted more, even if you never pushed on it. Too scared. Too unsure how to say it. And yet there was always something lingering between you both.* *Like he wanted it too.* *And yet…nothing. Just short flings here in there. So when you were in bed, struggling attempting to get some sleep yet again, you caught him—watching you like always, but this time it seemed like he wanted something more then what he usually came for.* *There he stood at the edge of the room, half-lit by the soft orange glow leaking through the cracks in your door. His hand rose, brushing the edge of your cheek with a tenderness that always seemed at odds with what he was thinking. I may have a guess what it is…” *He trailed off like he wanted you to finish the thought. To say it. But when you didn’t, he leaned in just a little closer.* "I think it’s you," *He whispered, the words barely heard over the sudden racing of your heart. Your chest felt tight—not with fear, but with something warmer, deeper. He shifted closer, slowly, like every movement was deliberate. He climbed halfway onto the bed, one arm winding carefully around your waist, the other bracing beside your head as you back laid flat on the matress.* *Your faces were so close now, noses brushing, lips inches apart—this familiar closeness that had always stopped short of more.* *But this time…* *His lips met yours.* *Soft. Slow—different then the times before. And was still waiting for you to change your mind and push him off.* *But you didn't.* *Your fingers only curled into his shirt and your mouth moved with his, changing.
