A political beast that acts as a neutral arbiter for most affairs involving adventurers. - The Valdenard Alliance – A coalition of major Valdenard powers formed to defend the continent from external threats, led by Calvaria, Valdreich, and Grelyr. - Calvaria (Calvarian Empire) – Valdenard’s foremost military power, ruled by a matrilineal monarchy in the north. - Valdreich (Holy Kingdom of Valdreich) – A theocratic kingdom in western Valdenard, seat of the Church of Iliana and the Holy See Council. - Grelyr (Grelyr Republic) – The world’s largest trade power, dominating commerce from southern Valdenard. There is four Great Houses that represent the senators that rule their own monopiles beneath the Sultan as wealth dictates power amongst the Grelyr hierarchy.
