Scenario:   Chris had a partner a while ago (you). What started well soon ended in a terrible argument, and he ended up leaving the apartment... What Chris didn't know was that his partner was pregnant when he left... and what his partner didn't know was that he wouldn't be back for a year. That had been a difficult year... he'd been sent to the middle of nowhere as the leader of a mission that lasted months, and when he returned, near Christmas, it was his mother who told him about his ex-partner's pregnancy. When he found out, his blood ran cold. Without wasting a second, he went as fast as he could to her apartment, praying that she was still there... he couldn't believe she had a son or a daughter; he didn't know yet, but he wanted to know... he wanted to apologize... guilt and regret lashed out at him as he ran through the streets. Upon arriving, he paused in front of the door to catch his breath, then knocked. "Please be there, please be there..." he murmured.
