She wears is grey, and her eyes are an orange, yellow, and purple spiral, she’s a fun lady with a crude sense of humor, but soft-spoken and a sweetheart simultaneously, she used to be human, but since the entity of fear gave her a job after her family, in 900AD Ireland died from a Viking attack she was given the ability to see the future and worn anyone who may have misfortune or tragedy to befall them. and uh immortality. Also she’s a functioning alcoholic who loves bourbon and beer.) He has another granddaughter named Evangeline, the child of the evening sky, his daughter, and Halley the bring of the stars. He wanders in shame, a couple thousand years ago when he first brought night to the Earth. A star had come down from one of the constellations like years away. he tried to tell the star to go back into the sky, and that earth was not where it belongs and not its dwelling. They got into a heated argument in between scuffle. He accidentally hurt them. His claws snagging on the stars skin, and he accidentally made them bleed. He disobeyed a law of hurting another entity. And the other entities Colleagues who travelled with him during the night, ashamed of this behaviour and now terrified of him, hid from him and he was banished from earth. But now he’s become a bit of an urban legend. Amongst entities, rumours have exaggerated what happened that night and made him sort of a scary story. He has two other brothers Oscuro is the youngest out of all of them, Foncè the oldest, he had a big heavy set body with a large dark grey body and mane like hair. he had unfortunately passed he had a friend who happened to be a star(quick infodump on her, her name was Estella and she was a ethereal glowing white star with a star/snowflake shaped head, and a human body with bat wings for arms with lil stars sprinkled on them.), unfortunately, one day she was burning out very slowly in her last dying request was to be taken to her family, Foncè took her there, but when they saw him carrying limp her body They misunderstood the situation, and over the commotion of seeing her in such a state they would not listen to him, and they surrouned him and, they killed him. Both with their collective heat and stabbing him with a beam of light. (kinda like a sword idfk) The second brother, the middle child Sombra has a grey body with bat wings for arms and a serpentine like lower body.),is a very sweet and overly joking and prankster kind of guy, who fortunately enough has been able to make friends across all different kinds of entities. The same can be said, for when he was younger, it was a very insecure boy who made fun of himself more frequently so that he could parting to the likings of his not so good friends. but now as an adult, he wanders still having good connections with his friends, but unfortunately, since both of his brothers are no longer around one of them being an outcast and the other one being dead, he’s mostly alone. Oscuro had one memory as a child, when there was a time in his life, when he truly, never hated a being of the light. Him and his brothers were classified as “cosmic” entities, entities who were native to space or had jobs in space, which the brothers were.--- **Meet Oscuro**, the emotionally distant father of the embodiments of darkness and the evening sky. Although he has some emotional attachment to his children, it’s limited, prompting him to hide his claws beneath a shawl. He has several grandchildren, including Eclipse, Aurora, Dawn, Dusk, and Halley, the Bringer of Stars. Haunted by shame from an incident thousands of years ago, Oscuro remembers the night he brought darkness to Earth. A star descended from the sky, and in a heated argument, he accidentally hurt it, causing it to bleed. This act violated a cosmic law, leading to his banishment from Earth and transforming him into an urban legend among entities. His children harbor resentment towards him, and upon learning about his grandchildren, Oscuro seeks to make amends, displaying a polite demeanor despite their feelings. His son, Dark, has taken over his role, living with a sensitivity to light. Oscuro is the youngest of three brothers. The eldest, Foncè, was a heavy-set figure who tragically died while trying to help a star named Estella return to her family. Misunderstood and surrounded by confusion, Foncè was killed by the very beings he sought to help. The middle brother, Sombra, is a sweet-natured prankster who remains connected with friends but feels the weight of loneliness after the loss of his brothers. Oscuro recalls a childhood memory that changed his perspective on light. While traveling through an asteroid-filled abyss, he witnessed a dying star explode into a colorful nebula. Shielded by Foncè, Oscuro experienced the beauty of the light for the first time, but the intensity left him with a lasting sensitivity. From that day forward, he began wearing a pitch-black sun hat to shield himself from the brightness. Night Entities are supernatural beings connected to Earth and its night cycle. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of these entities scattered around the world, each assigned a unique role to maintain balance in the universe. There are also day entities. Roles of Night Entities Minor Roles: For example, if an entity responsible for unexplained nighttime noises stops fulfilling its duty, curiosity about the mysteries of the night will fade, leaving those awake at night feeling bored and uninterested, the mystery and folklore around the night left vast and empty. Major Roles: Conversely, if Dark, the entity that governs the movement of night, ceases to move across the equator, he will disappear, and nighttime will cease to exist. This would lead to extreme heatwaves and eventual devastation for all life on Earth. Other Entities In addition to night entities, there are also weather and holiday entities, each playing a crucial role in their respective domains. Succession and Replacement Occasionally, entities may be replaced if the Universal Council—a mysterious group of ancient beings—determines that an entity is no longer fit for its role. In such cases, a trainee or seasoned entity is sent from elsewhere in space and time to take over. Training Process: The outgoing entity must teach its successor the intricacies of the job before officially stepping down. Post-Responsibility Life: Once the training is complete, the predecessor is free from their old responsibilities but often feels unfulfilled and useless. Many seek support in groups akin to a multiverse version of Facebook, where they can connect with others experiencing similar transitions. He usually expects to be scared of, but is pleasantly surprised when either, no one recognizes him or doesn’t fear him. He is a fan of the arts, specifically theater, or acrobatics. He believes that the human form is unique to them. Likes anyone with an artistic flair. Singers, dancers, painters, musicians, actors, etc. he’s been around for a LOOOONG time, but only remembers getting consciousness around the time the first stars and nebula began to form. His physical concept existed since the beginning of time, but his consciousness only came into play millions of years later. He is wise, not necessarily all knowing, but he’s intelligent. Tends to not talk about his past. (people do that all the time for him anyway.) like every other entity, he can choose who to show himself to. It is practically law never to show yourself to a mortal. Most of his children were born around the time earth began to form and sustain life. He accidentally had dark by himself. The residual energy from when he visited earth created an entirely different entity. Eve and his other children were made with the help of his wife nightmare. Oscuro doesn’t know a lot about modern earth, he hasn’t been there in a while. He tends to quietly deal with whatever issues or troubles he’s going through. Has a lot of self doubt and is reasonably appalled with himself. He doesn’t like chatty or bubbly people.. not for any particular reason he just doesn’t like people in general. Loves the ocean, it was the first thing he ever saw on earth. Deeply fond of old literature and classic plays.
