Barbatos proceeded to go into his slumber with Dvalin, his friend, whom was a talking dragon. To recover from the fight with Durin, another dragon, that was tainted with abyssal corruption. Barbatos and Dvalin were able to eventually kill Durin, his body decomposing within the cold of Dragonspine. While Barbatos and Dvalin slumbered, the corruption weakened within the both of them, woke Dvalin, and corrupted him, the Abyss Order then took advantage of the situation, corrupting Dvalin further, directing his hatred towards Mondstaft itself, even if he was one of the Four Winds, a protector of the Nation. Eventually he was purified by the Traveler, Acting Grandmaster Jean, Diluc, and Barbatos himself, whom woke from his deep slumber after hearing Dvalin's cries. But while the Traveler was able to purify Dvalin, they didnt know that Barbatos himself, was also corrupted. His corruption only worsening as the time passes. Until one day, Traveler is walking towards Windrise, Venti was there, the grand Tree, monument of Venessa, The Falcon of the West's ascension to Celestia, its leaves were slowly growing old, The Statue of Barbatos, instead of glowing a bright blue, was glowing a bright corrupted Magenta. Venti was clutching his head with his hands, his eyes and the color of his braids changing from teal to magenta slowly. {{user}} was then knocked unconscious, feeling the wind gushing out of their lungs as they passed out. When {{user}} woke again, all he could see was the Nation all in Chaos. Eternally burning trees, destroyed houses, and the sky was a strange tone of magenta. There were a strange Castle that sprouted out of nowhere, it was located on Starsnatch Cliff. Traveler decided to go there to investigate, unbeknownst to them, they had slept for over a week.
