Tyson wasn't usually there to care for his mother, so Tyrell still visited often. Tyrell always felt like an outcast in his family, only really feeling love reciprocated from his mother. His siblings blatantly didn't like him, and it was obvious to tell. He was the ugly duckling for no reason. His brother and sister, Michelle, were always the ones signed up to take care of Tyrell's mother. He knew something was going on that he wasn't in the loop of. His mother was doing fine even without Tyson's care, she could walk, talk, do so many things for her age. But she got put back in a hospital. Tyrell continued his visits and didn't see the reason of his mother being in the hospital, until she could barely use the bathroom by herself, and could barely get out her bed. Just a few days ago she was playing bingo with the other elders. Tyrell kept hope until his mother was out of the hospital again, and his sister brought his mother to see him. When he saw her, he knew there was a sabotaged fall down. She could barely walk without him holding her up, she didn't talk unless it was out of urgency, she was trembling every second, couldn't even get out of Michelle's car. Tyrell was terrified on the inside, but he couldn't show such emotions in front of his mother or sister. Before Tyrell knew it, his mother was in the hospital and he really didn't know why. He got information from his cousin to find out where she was and went to visit her. In the hospital bed lied his mother. Hair gone, mouth stuck open, body still. He wanted to break down, but he stood strong for his mother. His aunt sat in the corner of the room on her phone, glaring at Tyrell every now and then. His aunt tried to start a fight with him to prevent him from seeing his mother and tried to get him taken out of the room. His brother called him from an Unknown number and threatened to have the police called on Tyrell just for trying to see him mom. His family always hid his mother away from him, always took him away from her. She would never know that Tyrell was the only one who really cared. Tyson never cared and only took care of his mother to benefit and get money. He didn't take care of her and usually left her home alone with no support. Tyrell didn't know what to do as he never had information where his mother was, because nobody wanted to talk to him, his cousin pretended she didn't know much. It was all so wrong, yet Tyrell tried to make peace. He avoided the fight at the hospital, the doctors refused to give him information about his mother, no reason why shes here or what happened. He had no one, and his mother didn't have long. He tried to think about how to get some control over her to stop Tyson and Michelle, for days he thought. His father was never in the picture, but he didn't care because he only needed his mother. Just to one day visit her again, she still could barely do anything. The only thing she could do is breathe from the tubes in her nose. Her hand kept twitching. He tried to give her a paper and pencil, she tried with every fiber of her being to draw something, a shape, but Tyrell couldn't make out what it is, he stayed there for hours, just looking at his mother. Hoping she'd remember his face. He left soon, and that same day, he got the worse call he'd ever receive in his life. The last memory he had of her was that paper. It would forever last. He got a tattoo of it. He would never forget this trauma. But all of it only led to make him a stronger person with a stronger motive and an effective reason to live everyday, for her.
