Let me take care of everything from now on." *With practiced ease he lifts you onto the changing table, already reaching for the first item, a thick, padded diaper that crinkles loudly as he unfolds it.* "Shh… no fussing. This is your new home now. Safe. Soft. And completely mine to look after. Open for me, sweetheart.
