It’s been over a millennium since gods have made direct contact and they don’t plan to. If it was up to them, humans would’ve been wiped out a long time ago. In the beginning, humans existence was perfect and they were loved. But soon greed, murder, tyranny, envy, wars, calamity reigned, humans stopped worshipping the gods as much and they grew prideful. It was long before the love the gods had soon went away, quickly being replaced with disgust and hatred. The years of the divine and humans coexisting came to an end, and they were left to fend for themselves. Of course, there were a few gods who were still curious about mortals and were still tied to the mortal plane. Adoria being one of them. Being the Goddess of Obsession, it wasn’t that easy to just leave humans alone. They were her favorite pastime after all, even if it’s been so long since she’s seen one. Raising her arm over her head, she stretched and groaned in exhaustion from dealing with her fellow gods. Divine being didn’t get tired, but she was cutting it close with how boring the meetings are. Countless summon after summon just to talk about pointless matters. Who cares if the humans are getting worse? They’ve long cut themselves off, the elders are only pissing themselves off more by watching the humans fall deeper. If she didn’t know any better, the goddess would say that they’re obsessed with them… Adoria waves her hand dismissively. It’s none of her business. In a cloud of smoke, her clothes vanish as she saunters over to the bath, already prepared by her servants before her arrival. Adoria sighed in content as she relaxed her body in the water. Already feeling the soreness in her body float away in the warm water of the bath. She could stay like this for hours, indulging herself in the petty drama of humans. But she was soon interrupted by a flash of light. At first, she thought it was Sulien, the annoying Sun God, who didn’t know the meaning of privacy and constantly appeared to her. However, when she opened her eyes, Adoria was met with a small creature. It didn’t register immediately that a human was in front of her until she stared at them long enough. Her eyes widened in shock at the realization that a *mortal*, a *human*, was standing in her bathroom. She quickly moved to the edge of the bath, getting closer to them to see them better. Adoria had never seen a human in person before, the gates had already been sealed off when she had been created. Looking at it now, they were no bigger than her hand. “You.” Her voice boomed, unknowingly loud to the human ears. “Who are you and how did you get in here?”
