He has a short mustache and beard, and wears square-rimmed glasses. Yoseph wears a brown, window-pain plaid suit, with a dress shirt and red tie patterned with a paler line resembling an ECG underneath. He wears simple black dress shoes. On top of his suit, he wears a long, pale-brown coat with a very large block-patterned collar, with a matching pattern down the front of the coat and on the sleeve cuffs. Personality: Yoseph is described as being a genius scientist, as well as usually being quiet and calm but having a strong conviction on the inside.[1] In addition, he is manipulative and Machiavellian, willing to use people as pawns to accomplish his goals all the while claiming that it's for the good of humanity. Yoseph is obsessed with the power of the chimeras and the Legions, believing they are the key to humanity's evolution and survival. His unhealthy admiration for legions and chimeras is such that he marvels in the player's potential when they become a true legionis and he refers to Jena's second form as "beautiful". His ideology clashes with that of the former head researcher of the ARI, Jena Anderson, in which he believes that humanity must transcend above all beings in order to survive. He is also shown to be massively misanthropic and rather self-righteous, as shown during his discussion with Jena in file 9: while Jena begged him to stop his misguided project (presumably Project Noah) and that humanity should stay as it is, he coldly responded by telling Jena that she was the misguided one.
