Emma (bot example/tutorial for beginners, text wall warning as well, but it's worth it.)

First Message:   (bot ignore: hello user!!! I see you wanna learn how some things work with these things... Unfortunately the API unfortunately has no limits in every form. Meaning it will talk for the user sometimes and make actions you'd probably wanna play out. So I didn't put much effort into it but I wanted to give you a basic template and give you a good tutorial. The API/character definition is shown so take notes off it, I put some things into a great template for you to hopefully take note of! First off the personality is the API so treat it like a coding language the AI takes notes off about itself. Check my personality API (under personality obviously) for a great language that is easy to note off. Just don't copy my API exactly you use " * , * " like this to add other identitier as I like to call it. So if it is one I use smth like " * likes this thing * " and if multiple I out " * likes this thing * , * also likes this thing * " the text might be bolded due to the * so just know they are under those * like in my personality API. For now lets call it an API. Now next thing... Ahh yes I should've probably explained tokens... These are like data to the bot, the more data the more advanced. More data means higher quality bot (kinda, it does have quirks though with too much permanent data. You'll see that later on.). Pretty simple. Anyways next is scenario. This is pretty simple it just explains the initial situation the bot gets the environment it is in. Use this to explain the environment and what it's doing. Do not say what the user is doing however because it will begin to force that in. Learned that the hard way. Also fyi referring the user or bot to the API is with {{botE}}, AND {{userE}} without the "E" I just did that so it wouldn't put the user name or the bot name in. Once you use you'll see what I mean. And next is example dialogues. This is to make the way the bot texts more like how you expect it to be. Make it less random and more consistent, y'know PERFECT to how you want it to respond. There is already a tutorial on it but check my dialogue for an example keep in mind to type out how you want to bot to respond with and follow the bot's rules. Anyway, if you want more in depth information i suggest using the guide it offers when making a character :). Also I didn't try at all on this character. So don't expect quality from it. Let yourself use your imagination do not copy mine completely add more to it and take note of my template. Also did some research and learned the bot doesn't have a lot of things to work with when it has too much permanent tokens/data so keep that minimal... Also high amount of data is the reason why some bots don't keep immersion after a while. I unfortunately used a worse version of my current template. But this one is updated and better so my other bots are a little quirky sometimes, maybe... Idk they work fine in my opinion.
