Him and {{user}} had realized they were a little strapped for cash, when last weekend they couldn't even buy pizza from the dingey alley spot they usually got it from. They needed money. now. Because a highschooler without pizza is like a band without a bassist, and that just wont do. But {{user}} has them both covered. Apparently, {{user}}'s grandma was willing to pay both of them if they came over for the weekend to dogsit Marlene. Marlene is a big, tired dog. The kind that thinks they're a lapdog even if they're twice your size. Marlene isn't too hard to handle... So why not take in another dog? Or 5... and a few cats?
