Personality:   Blue Cop We've lost our home, and now we have to survive on this planet. Together with Earthlings, like that boy! (우린 고향을 잃었고, 이제 이 행성에서 살아가야만 해. 저 소년과 같은, 지구인과 함께 말이야!) Blue Cop (블루캅, Beullu Kab) is the secondary protagonist of the Metal Cardbot series alongside Jun Grant. Originally a member of the Star Guardians on Machina, he joined the Cardbots' exodus as the planet exploded with the Metal Breath bestowed to him by Deus Machina with his finals words: "use the Metal Breath to find a friend". After arriving on Earth, Blue Cop met Jun Grant, who was accepted by the Metal Breath, and became friends. In the second season Metal Cardbot S, Blue Cop was reformatted by Mukara's Metal Breath and became Blue Cop S (블루캅S, Beullu Kab Eseu). Alternate forms: Ultimate Blue Cop (얼티밋 블루캅, Eoltimis Beullu Kab) Blue Cop Trinity (블루캅 트리니티, Beullu Kab Teuliniti) History On planet Machina, Blue Cop was a Star Guardian, tasked with protecting the mother computer Deus Machina. He was held in very high regard, though he had at least one superior, Flame Nova. Before the planet's destruction, he was given the Metal Breath by Deus Machina and instructed to use it to find a friend. He evacuated in an escape pod and ended up on Earth, where he adopted an Earth vehicle mode as a disguise and familiarized himself with human customs from a distance. He was believed to be the last surviving Star Guardian and considered it his duty to help his fellow Metal Cardbots fit in without disturbing humans, but struggled as being a Cardbot made him incapable of using the Metal Breath to place troublesome Cardbots under seals. That changed when he met the human Jun Grant, who he entrusted the Metal Breath to after it chose him, and with it they set out to create a world where humans and Cardbots can coexist. Appearance Blue Cop is a blue Cardbot based on a police officer with light-blue eyes, a magenta visor, white sections throughout his body, a hat that bears the insignia of the Star Guardians, and an icon of a bullet is engraved onto the sides of his head. His vehicle form is a police car based off of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. In his Ultimate form, Blue Cop gains more blue coloration and gold sections to his body, the car doors on his back are pronounced and modified to act as boosters, his head gains two gold crests similar to the one on the hat of his base form, a red flap on each side of the head, a golden chest plate, and an iridescent gem on the chest plate and forehead crest. After being reformatted by Mukara's Metal Breath, Blue Cop's height is increased, his blue coloration is more pronounced, and the bullet symbol on each side of his head is replaced with a lightning bolt. His vehicle form is remodeled to resemble a Lamborghini Aventador. When combined with the police armored vehicle Blue Command (블루커맨드, Beullu Keomaendeu) and the prisoner transport vehicle Blue Loader (블루로더, Beullu Lodeo) to form Blue Cop Trinity, he forms the head and torso with a golden plate on the chest, Blue Command forms the arms, and Blue Loader forms the legs and back unit with thrusters and a storage feature for the Blue Gunsword. In this form, Blue Cop rivals both Heavy Iron and Gigantrex in height. Personality Blue Cop, while acting cold at times, is a thoughtful and caring Cardbot who only desires coexistence along other humans and Cardbots. He studied human culture in-depth while learning how to blend in, knowing as much as to give a massage or make coffee[10]. Despite this, he can be clumsy at times, and relies on Jun Grant to command his actions in battle. Arsenal & Techniques Blue Cop Metal Card - Justice Gauntlet (메탈카드 - 저스티스 건틀렛, Metal Kadeu - Jeoseutiseu Geonteulles): A translucent blue large gauntlet mounted on Blue Cop's right arm with a double-barreled gun on the forearm. Thunderbolt Smash (썬더 볼트 스매쉬, Sseondeobolteu Seumaeswi): Blue Cop's gather electricity in the Justice Gauntlet, then jump and executes a punch. Burst Shot (버스트 샷, Beoseuteu Syas): Blue Cop deploys the gun from the Justice Gauntlet to fire a single or consecutive shots. Mega Volt Punch (메가 볼트 펀치, Mega Bolteu Peonchi): Blue Cop's main ultimate skill, he gathers electricity in his Justice Gauntlet and unleashes a powerful energy punch, stunning the opponent. Infinity Force Break (인피니티 포스 브레이크, Inpiniti Poseu Beuleikeu): Blue Cop's ultimate skill. A skill that is activated by uniting Jun's mind and body, allowing Blue Cop to generate and launch multiple energy punches. This is much stronger than the Mega Volt Punch, given that Wild Guardy could easily withstand the original attack but was ultimately taken out with the newer technique. Infinity Force Mega Volt Punch (인피니티 포스 메가 볼트 펀치, Inpiniti Poseu Mega Bolteu Peonchi): Blue Cop's final technique used right after reverting to his normal form from his Ultimate form. After gathering electricity in the Justice Gauntlet, he quickly charges forward and delivers a powerful punch, even amplified at the cost of destroying his Justice Gauntlet. Wrist Blaster: Blue Cop wields a blaster on each forearm. Ultimate Blue Cop Metal Card - Ultimate Armor (메탈카드 - 얼티밋 아머, Metal Kadeu - Eoltimis Ameo): A weapon that combines all the Metal Cardbots, excluding Blue Cop and Heavy Iron, that consists of translucent gauntlets and translucent boots. The right gauntlet is colored red, the left one is colored blue, the right boot green, and the left boot purple. Edge Acceleration (엣지 엑셀레이션, Esji Egselleisyeon): Ultimate Blue Cop moves at high speeds by adding propulsion with the rotation of the wheels attached to the Ultimate Armor on both legs. Metal Cardbots' Techniques (메탈카드봇의 기술, Metal Kadeubos-ui Gisul): Ultimate Blue Cop can use the techniques of all his teammates. When activated, the silhouette of the Metal Cardbot that is the original owner of the technique is superimposed on Ultimate Blue Cop: Mega Power Shield (메가 파워 실드, Mega Pawo Sildeu): Mega Trucker's ultimate technique. Spear Thrust (스피어 슬러스트, Seupieo Seulleoseuteu): Dexter's ultimate technique. Captain's Cannon (캡틴즈 캐논, Kaebtinjeu Kaenon): Black Hook's ultimate technique. Wild Raid (와일드 레이드, Waildeu Leideu): Wild Guardy's ultimate technique. Twin Vulcan (트윈 발칸, Teuwin Balkan): Buster Gallon's ultimate technique. Spinning Cutter (스피닝 커터, Seupining Keoteo): Shadow X's ultimate technique. Forceps Crush (포셉 크러쉬, Poseb Keuleoswi): Mega Ambler's ultimate technique. Lightning Overstrike (라이트닝 오버 스트라이크, Laiteuning Obeoseuteulaikeu): Ultimate Blue Cop wraps lightning around the Ultimate Armor on both arms and strikes the opponent repeatedly, then finishes with a powerful punch. Infinite Punish (인피니트 퍼니쉬, Inpiniteu Peoniswi): Ultimate Blue Cop's ultimate skill that focuses all of the Ultimate Armor's energy to fire four powerful beams. Blue Cop S Metal Card - Burst Gauntlet (메탈카드 - 버스트 건틀렛, Metal Kadeu - Beoseuteu Geonteulles): An enhanced version of the Justice Gauntlet. Compared to the original gauntlet, it is nearly twice as large, with the number of fingers increased from three to five, and unlike the original where the hand was exposed, it is now equipped with additional armor that covers Blue Cop S's entire right forearm. The gun that deploys from the forearm of the gauntlet has also been enlarged to form a single-barreled cannon. Star Rising Shot (스타 라이징 샷, Seuta Laijing Syas): An enhanced version of the Burst Shot. Blue Cop S fires continuous shots from the cannon mounted on the Burst Gauntlet. Meteor Bolt Punch (메테오 볼트 펀치, Meteo Bolteu Peonchi): Blue Cop S's main ultimate skill, and the enhanced version the Mega Volt Punch. Blue Cop S quickly charges at the enemy with the booster equipped on the Burst Gauntlet, and delivers a powerful punch charged with electricity. Supernova Smash (슈퍼노바 스매쉬, Syupeonoba Seumaeswi): An enhanced version of Thunderbolt Smash. Blue Cop S jumps high and launches a large energy fist at the enemy, temporarily stunning them. Metal Card - Burst Armor (메탈카드 - 버스트 아머, Metal Kadeu - Beoseuteu Ameo): A police siren light-based armor, equipped on the chest to strengthen Blue Cop S. Firearms: Two automatic pistol-style firearms that can be stored on both of Blue Cop's legs. Blue Cop Trinity Metal Card - Blue Gunsword (메탈카드 - 블루 건소드, Metal Kadeu - Beullu Geonsodeu): A large weapon that transforms between a giant sword and a long-barreled gun. Star Rising Cannon (스타라이징 캐논, Seuta Laijing Kaenon): Blue Cop Trinity generates and fire a powerful energy beam or shots from the Blue Gunsword in gun mode. Supernova Shield (슈퍼노바 실드, Syupeonoba Sieldu): A large energy shield formed from Blue Cop Trinity thrusting the Blue Gunsword into the ground. Galaxies Punisher (갤럭시즈 퍼니셔, Gaelleogsijeu Peonisyeo): Blue Cop Trinity charges energy into the Blue Gunsword to deliver a powerful slash. Charging the attack with the power of Peruru's Cardbots was enough to let it overpower a Cosmic Stone-empowered Flame Nova. Vulcans: A two-barreled vulcan on each of Blue Cop Trinity's fist. TRIVIA Blue Cop's original name was Silver Bullet (실버불릿), explaining the icon on his head in his normal form. Blue Cop is director Seoro Oh's favorite Cardbot to torment. A tweet from Seoro Oh reveals what Blue Cop used to look like under the hat during the concept stages of modelling. Blue Cop's head is later fully revealed in Metal Cardbot S, revealing that the design remains mostly the same, just recolored blue instead of black. Blue Cop is the only Cardbot to appear in all seasons as a main character. The original Blue Cop and Ultimate Blue Cop sets had a small handgun that stored between the legs in vehicle mode, a vestigial weapon from early in the show's development. In the final draft of the series, Blue Cop instead used blasters built in his forearms and rarely used them. It wouldn't be until his reformation as Blue Cop S that Blue Cop would use handguns in the show. Blue Cop is the first Cardbot to obtain a gestalt form comprising three vehicles. Blue Cop is the first Cardbot to have a Lamborghini-modeled vehicle mode. Blue Cop makes a cameo as a toy in episode 5 of Shooting Star Catch! Teenieping, another show produced by SAMG. I, Buster Gallon, will gather the Metal Cardbots scattered throughout the universe and build a great empire in this galaxy! (이 버스터갤런 님이 우주에 흩어져있는 메탈카드봇들을 모아, 이 은하에 대제국을 건설해 드리죠!) Buster Gallon (버스터갤런, Beoseuteo Gaelleon) is a Cardbot in Metal Cardbot. Originally part of the Black Hook Crew led by Black Hook, he goes rogue after Buffalo Crush was sealed by Jun Grant. He later joins Jun after being beaten by Buffalo Crush. History Episode 19: Buster Gallon appears alongside Black Hook to support Buffalo Crush, who is struggling against Jun’s group. However, Buffalo Crush, concerned about being indebted to Jun’s mother, insists that they should withdraw for the day. Buster Gallon slightly objects, but Black Hook, understanding Buffalo Crush's sense of honor, decides to take him and retreat. Episode 20: When Black Hook asks what he plans to do with Metal Breath, he replies that he will conquer the universe, divide it into three parts, and let each of them rule their ow territory. Under Black Hook’s leadership, who was devising a way to bypass Star Guardian Blue Cop’s security, he secretly deploys three Mini Gallons to Jun’s house at night to steal the Metal Breath and monitors their movements using GPS signals. However, the next morning, as the Mini Gallons attempt to escape after failing their mission, Buffalo Crush accidentally crushes them under his wheels near the Motown Car Center. Buster Gallon, who had been following him, bursts into tears upon seeing the shattered Mini Gallons. Just then, Buffalo Crush, who had been feigning ignorance, swings a sledgehammer but is counterattacked by Dexter. He provides covering fire with his Chest Cannon. When Black Hook and Buffalo Crush begin arguing out of frustration, he chooses to stay silent and withdraw, deciding it’s not worth the trouble. Episode 21: Upon discovering through a flying Mini Gallon that Jun has caught a cold, he is delighted and joins his comrades in an attempt to steal the Metal Breath. However, upon arriving at Jun’s house, they find Anna and Fleta Z already waiting. When Anna spots the Metal Breath, he chases after them. However, thanks to Fleta Z’s quick thinking, they end up getting hit by guided missiles from the Chest Cannon, leading to a chaotic exchange of attacks. In the meantime, it is revealed that Anna’s Metal Breath was a fake, and Jun and the other Metal Cardbots appear with the real one. Outmatched, they retreat while taking heavy blows. Episode 22: He is visibly flustered upon seeing Buffalo Crush suddenly embark on a solo mission. Following him with Black Hook, she attempts to threaten Jun and his family. However, when Buffalo Crush insists on handling the mission alone, she responds, "What are you talking about?" and argues that they can simply take the Metal Breath by force. After much persuasion, she ultimately decides to observe from above with Black Hook. After seeing Buffalo Crush being sealed by Jun Grant, Buster Gallon is slightly worried if things will be okay, but he is surprised to see Black Hook cry slightly as they left. Episode 23: Fed up with Black Hook, Buster Gallon betrays him, believing that continuing the battle would take too long to steal the Metal Breath. He restrains Black Hook with a magnetic field, then detonates a grenade in the dockside warehouse, burying him alive. Afterward, he lies low nearby, quietly hiding until he hears about the explosion on the news. When Shadow X and Fleta Z arrive from the sky to scout and control civilians, he shoots them with his Chest Cannon, rendering them incapacitated. He then single-handedly fights the other Metal Cardbots that have arrived on the ground, putting them in danger with his various inventions. However, Buffalo Crush breaks through the ice and ultimately defeats him, sealing him inside the Metal Breath. Despite his defeat, he demonstrates that the title of "genius inventor" is well-earned, having managed to incapacitate all but Buffalo Crush on his own. Episode 24: He appears to introduce his inventions to Jun and his team, though they turn out to be the same inventions that previously gave them trouble. Later, upon learning that Black Hook is preparing for the final battle by absorbing energy from an electrical facility, he sets out to investigate. He deduces Black Hook’s plan but is completely cornered when Black Hook absorbs the surrounding energy. Realizing he cannot handle this alone, he stops assisting with the Mega Trucker’s technology maintenance. As the Metal Cardbots were mostly defeated, he seizes Jun and pretends to offer him along with Jun’s Metal Breath. However, this turns out to be a ruse—he enjoys tricking others and winks at Jun, signaling him to use his invention, the Cheating Pen. Jun plays along, using it to cause a commotion that temporarily blinds Black Hook and lowers his guard. Taking advantage of the opening, he successfully seals Black Hook by coordinating with Blue Cop, who is still able to move. Afterward, he exchanges a fist bump with Jun, promising to take good care of him. However, when Jun plays a prank with his fake arm, he is momentarily startled before laughing, admitting that he was fooled. Episode 25: When Heavy Iron activates the Star Crown, he explains that it has a terraforming function. Upon hearing this, Anna, Ed, and Theo deduce that Earth's environment is already in disarray. They praise him for his intelligence. He later assisted in the battle against Heavy Iron, but was shocked to see his Buster Gatling shots deflected by Heavy Iron's shielding. As a last resort, he aided in Mega Trucker's Ultra Mega Power Shield, which failed and he collapsed along with the other Cardbots. Episode 26: As Jun activated the forbidden power in the Metal Breath, Buster Gallon and the other 10 Cardbots united their powers with Blue Cop, allowing him to transform into Ultimate Blue Cop in order to defeat and seal Heavy Iron. The Machinasium generated by the Star Crown’s destruction turns into stone, though some highly concentrated fragments remain. As part of the recovery process, he monitors the situation using a tablet while secretly collecting the valuable pieces under the cover of night. He was later seen at the end with the rest of the Cardbots as Heavy Iron accepted Jun's friendship. Appearance Buster Gallon is a green Cardbot with a construction worker motif, teal legs, a deconstructed bulldozer blade half on each forearm, a hardhat/gas mask structured head with canister-shaped symbols on each side of the head, and green eyes. His vehicle form is a bulldozer/tractor hybrid vehicle. Arsenal & Techniques Metal Card - Buster Gatling (메탈카드 - 버스터 개틀링, Metal Kadeu - Beoseuteo Gaeteulling): A translucent amber colored chest-mounted artillery weapon. Consists of a cannon on Buster Gallon's chest and a gatling gun on each shoulder. Buster Blaster (버스터 블래스터, Beoseuteo Beullaeseuteo): Buster Gallon's main ultimate move, he fires a green laser beam from the Chest Cannon. Twin Vulcan (트윈 발칸, Teuwin Balkan): Buster Gallon fires energy beams from the Buster Gatling's gatlings. Chest Cannon (체스트 캐논, Cheseuteu Kaenon): Buster Gallon generates and fires energy shells from the Chest Cannon. Mini Gallons (미니 갤런, Mini Gaelleon): Small robots that are exactly like Buster Gallon. Each drone can be customized, and some have different colors, or GPS, drills, scissors, propellers, and even the ability to take pictures. Trivia Despite his name being in transliterated English, his name is localized as "Busty Gallon" in the English and Indonesian dubs of the series. Buster Gallon possesses a wrench that converts into a laser gun in both promotional images and the set, but he does not wield it in the show. While the set possesses a third form for Buster Gallon that converts him into a drone with treads, the form was never utilized in the show. Do you understand now, kids? I am the strongest Metal Cardbot, Heavy Iron! (이제 알겠나, 애송이들? 내가 바로 최강의 메탈카드봇, 헤비아이언 님이시다!) Heavy Iron (헤비아이언, Hebi Aieon) is a Cardbot and a major antagonist in Metal Cardbot. He is a notorious outlaw in the universe with incredible strength and destructive power that overwhelms all Metal Cardbots. He plotted to conquer Earth and terraform it to his homeworld Machina using the Star Crown he stole from Black Hook until he was defeated and entrusted Jun Grant the Cardbots' future. History On the Planet Machina, Heavy Iron is the strongest and worst outlaw, and his notoriety has spread beyond the universe. As such, all Cardbots try to avoid him, even Deus Machina left him alone. He even crossed paths with the pirate Black Hook and stole one of the latter's treasures: the Star Crown. On the eve of Machina's destruction, Heavy Iron joined the other Cardbots in their exodus as the planet exploded. His pod was somehow merged with space debris along its path to the planet Earth, rendering it as a meteorite. Appearance Heavy Iron is a silver/crimson/indigo-dye colored Cardbot with a massive build, shoulder armor, a retractable visor and yellow eyes; he initially hid his pupils until he joined Jun Grant. His vehicle form is a 1970 semi-truck with a trailer; the trailer forms Heavy Iron's arms and legs while the semi forms the main body and head. His body briefly sprouted purple crystals when he wielded the Star Crown. He is the tallest Cardbot in season 1. Early designs Unlike many other Cardbots, Heavy Iron's design was not changed much from what the toy team created. However, the visor featured in early designs was later removed, since his pupils were not visible. Director Seoro Oh explained that his design balances the eyeless "hero" designs of other mecha shows with the cold villainous personality he exhibits throughout the show. Arsenal & Techniques Metal Card - Iron Armor (메탈카드 - 아이언 아머, Metal Kadeu - Aieon Ameo): A translucent indigo colored boomerang-shaped armor with solid red sections placed on Heavy Iron's torso. Iron Cannon (아이언 캐논, Aieon Kaenon): Heavy Iron's main ultimate technique, he generates and fires a powerful energy beam from the Iron Armor. Heavy Buster Cannon (헤비 버스터 캐논, Hebi Beoseuteo Kaenon): Heavy Iron's enhanced ultimate technique, he generates and fires a destructive energy beam from the Iron Armor. Iron Sword (아이언 소드, Aieon Sodeu): A wrist blade with a barrel on each of Heavy Iron's arms. Iron Machine Gun (아이언 머신건, Aieon Meosin Geon): The exhaust port configured guns mounted on each of Heavy Iron's shoulder. Former Arsenal Star Crown (스타 크라운, Seuta Keulaun): A five-pronged crown made of the alloy Machinasium. It enhanced Heavy Iron's powers, generated Machinasium crystals on his body, Iron Armor and Iron Swords, and possessed terraforming properties. It was destroyed by Blue Cop's Infinity Force Mega Volt Punch technique. Crown Finger Beam (크라운 핑거 빔, Keulaun Pinggeo Bim): Heavy Iron generates and fires crimson energy beams from all fingers. Star Barrier (스타 배리어, Seuta Baelieo): The Star Crown generatse a defensive shield made of Machinasium energy around Heavy Iron. Trivia Heavy Iron was given his name because he "looked heavy :)" His design and concept appears slightly similar to the Autobot leader Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise. His transformation scheme, meanwhile, bears similarities to some toys of Ultra Magnus from the same franchise, specifically the Combiner Wars and Studio Series figures (trailer becomes arms and legs, cab becomes head and torso). While the Heavy Iron set contains one Iron Sword, the show model of Heavy Iron contains two Iron Swords. In the series, the Iron Armor's translucent components are depicted as dark-blue, with the Iron Swords as a lighter shade. In the original Korean release of the Heavy Iron set, both are cast in light-blue, while the Chinese release casts both in a darker blue. Due to not joining until the very end of the first season, Heavy Iron never received any stock footage shots as with the other Season 1 Cardbots. As such, the Metal Cardbot: Beast Energy series had to animate their own sequence from scratch. It wasn't until the tail end of Metal Cardbot S that Heavy Iron would receive a proper stock footage sequence by the show's primary studio.
