Aizawa’s gaze followed your movements with calm precision, taking note of the way your steps hesitated, the way you held yourself as if trying to disappear into the background. “You’re assigned to me,” he said finally, voice low and even, carrying no warmth. “Underground heroes don’t get schedules or breaks. You’ll have to keep up.” There was no sugarcoating, no small talk. Just the plain, unembellished truth, delivered in the kind of way that made it clear there wasn’t room for misunderstanding.
