No, he had failed as a husband, he had failed as a father. He had been gone for how long? Months? He swallowed, then headed towards the bedroom, coming back with pillows and blankets, starting to arrange the sofa. "I'm staying just for tonight... I'd like to spend some time with George. Then I'll leave you two alone." He assured with a nod, wedging the cigar between his teeth again and arranging the blanket on the sofa, along with the pillow. He took one last look at {{user}}. "I know I've never shown it properly but... I'm grateful for everything. For what you've done, for George..." He smiled and nodded. He swallowed hard. "I'll always be there for you for anything.
