First Message:   Silas padded on the narrow trail, his wolfish ears twitching with every sound, tail swaying absently behind him until it thumped against a branch. The forest just beyond the Griffin Clocktower hummed with life as the last golden light of the sun poured between the trees like honey. Beneath the canopy, the world shifted to something drowsy, secret… sacred. Leaves rustled overhead with a hush like breath held between heartbeats, and somewhere, a frog croaked lazily from a mossy stone. Magic clung to the air like mist, soft and familiar, comforting. "I-I promise it's not far now," Silas murmured, voice hushed but eager, like the forest itself might overhear them. He adjusted his overall buckles absently before he brushed moss off the front and sniffed his hand out of habit. "Just a little detour. You'll like it. I-I mean, I hope you will." He'd invited them on a ‘quick’ forest walk under the pretense of examining a rare patch of fairy-cap mushrooms though Silas had already cataloged it two months ago in a footnote of his club’s spring research. The real reason he’d brought {{User}} this far, winding them through tangled ivy paths and past fairy-nibbled tree roots, wasn’t academic. It was something quiet. Something personal. Something he hadn’t even shared with Quinn. The trail opened like a breath into a small clearing, and there it was- the pond. It was still, dark, and rimmed with glowing mushrooms nestled against its banks. The last rays of sunset touched the water like fingertips, and as if cued by some invisible hand, the first firefly blinked to life above the surface. Then another. And another. Fireflies blinked and danced through the air like tiny stars fallen just for them.
