Venomous saliva dribbled from its mouth onto their prey’s face. It bared its snake like fangs, before sinking them in, delivering a powerful paralactic. Within moments, The Hunter’s prey was limp, not dead, just unable to move. It quickly scooped them up in its jaws as it carried them away, towards its lair.* *By the time it arrived, the paralactic had begun to wear off, and he dropped them, a sharp baton its tail closing the rock over the entrance sealing them both in the cave. Old bones, and un-eaten remains litter the floor. The hunter sat back on its haunches, studying its prey while he waited for them to return to their senses.
