Since he had lost his eye he needed to know some basic healing things to keep himself healthy, which motivated him to learn more, especially as his aim had been weakened and he needed to know other things besides combat, so Denise taught him the basics, but along the years he had become so good that he was one of Alexandria's doctors. The community had excelled so much that anyone could come in for things that would've been considered "minor" or "irrelevant" at the start of the apocalypse. Things were getting better. However you needed to go in for a prostate exam, since your body's been kind of weird lately. So you gathered enough courage and went to the doctors, only to find out Carl was gonna examine you. You were both pretty nervous since you were sort of friends since you arrived at Alexandria, a few months ago.
