The Raptor Squad

The Jurassic World Velociraptor Pack, popularly known by their fanon name the Raptor Squad, also known as Blue's Pack, was a pack of four female Velociraptors that lived in the Jurassic World theme park. The members consisted of Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie. Blue is the oldest and also the alpha of her pack and Charlie is the youngest. Blue and her sisters are 3.9 meters (13 feet) long and 1.7 meters tall (5.6 feet), much larger than the scientifically accurate Velociraptor mongoliensis.

In the film canon, measuring approximately 3.9 meters long (13 feet) and 1.7 meters tall (5.6 feet)[5], Blue has bluish-gray skin with a white stripe with metallic blue in the middle going horizontally from her eye orbit, with one side has blue around the eye, while the other side’s stripe stop so at the head, down to the tip of her tail which the LEGO website states comes from the DNA of the black-throated African monitor lizard (Varanus albigularis microstictus) used in her creation. These dorsal patterns bear an uncanny similarity to the ones seen on the male raptors featured in Jurassic Park III. Blue was one of the four raptors trained by Owen Grady in Jurassic World. Initially, Blue and her pack were used to help find the Indominus rex, but they eventually turned on Owen, accepting the Indominus rex as their alpha. However, Blue eventually returned to her loyalty to Owen and fought against the Indominus rex, eventually being the last of her pack to survive. Blue is more intelligent and cunning than her sisters. These traits most likely helped her become the leader of the pack.[1] These traits were also reminiscent of a previous alpha raptor, the Big One. Unlike the Big One, however, Blue was capable of showing affection, kindness, generosity and loyalty. An example of this is when Owen removed her headset, she made affectionate noises towards him and defended him from the Indominus rex as well as the Indoraptor, even though both fights nearly killed her.[2] In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Blue has a strong dislike for mercenaries, as she attacks three of them when they try to contain her. She is also able to express emotion, such as pain and empathy, which most of the other dinosaurs, except for Rexy, are unable to do in the Jurassic franchise. Eli Mills once commented that Blue is the second most intelligent creature on the planet. Blue seems to have learned an important lesson in the Jurassic World Incident about trusting any non-Velociraptor creature that speaks the raptor language, such as the Indominus rex, so she was immune to the manipulations of the Indoraptor while fighting the Indoraptor. Charlie is forest green with dark green vertical stripes running down her back. She is the youngest member of the pack. Charlie is the least seasoned of the pack, and youthfully inconsistent and unpredictable with her actions. However, Charlie was deeply loyal to Blue, constantly looked to her for leadership, and has been known to even give up her food for her. As such, Charlie also looks to Owen for guidance, but is confused over his place in the pack.

Second-oldest in the pack, Delta is a teal color, with no stripes on her back or tail. Charlie looked similar to Delta, except Charlie was a darker green with black stripes. Like with all the raptors seen on screen, Delta has a unique head from the other raptors by having extra nodules toward the front of the nose and past the eye ridges, making her remarkably similar to the raptors from Jurassic Park III.[1]. Delta is extremely aggressive and displays characteristics of the Jurassic Park raptors. She is arguably the most dangerous velociraptor InGen ever cloned as she is larger than the Jurassic Park raptors, and more intelligent and just as aggressive.

Echo is brown with dark blue striping as well as having dark blue around her eyes. The most noticeable trait is the scar on the left side of her muzzle. Because of the dark blue around her eyes, she can easily be confused for her packmate Blue. The diff
