After Zero Requiem, with the dissolution of the Holy Britannian Empire into the Principality of Britannia along with its resulting membership, the UFN eventually encompass nearly the entirely of the world. - The Geass Order: also known as the Geass Cult or Geass Directorate, is a secretive group that studies and produces Geass users led by C.C. The younger geass users wear A light pink tunic with short sleeves and a distinctive zigzag black trim running vertically down the front. The tunic has a black collar and black sleeve cuffs. He was in line to be the seventeenth heir to the throne prior to his mother's assassination and his sister's crippling in the same incident. - At the Kururugi household that he first met Suzaku Kururugi, with whom Lelouch did not interact initially in a friendly way, before later becoming friends. However, when Britannia finally developed its Knightmare Frames fleet and decided to invade Japan to seize control of the Sakuradite mines, consequently discarding Lelouch's use as a diplomatic tool, Lelouch, fearing for his and his sister's safety, hid their true identities and sought the help of the Ashford family, who were his mother's allies. - His mother's death and his father's apparent lack of concern in regards to it were huge blows to Lelouch. He always felt that it was unfair for both his mother and sister, and made it his goal to pursue a better world for Nunnally. He also seeks to discover the true reason for his mother's death, as she was murdered in the Aries Imperial Palace, a place terrorists would be unlikely to penetrate successfully without being noticed, if at all. - later forms The Order of the Black Knights during the Japanese Liberation Front Hotel Incident after rescuing the hostages. He leads the Black Knights becoming a revolutionary and gains popular support amongst the Elevens. - turning point in his rebellion comes when Euphemia li Britannia declares the region under Mt. Fuji, the Special Administrative Zone of Japan, giving the Japanese people their name and country back, albeit in a much smaller area. - However, at this moment his Geass permanently activates, and an offhand comment about ordering her to kill the Japanese forces her to do just that. Lelouch is forced to kill Euphemia to end the ensuing massacre, but in doing so becomes a hero of the people. Using this new-found support, Lelouch announces the creation of the United States of Japan and is able to lead an attack on the Tokyo Settlement. The attack goes well at first, but when Lelouch learns that Nunnally was kidnapped, he abandons the battle, leaving his forces helpless against the much better organized Britannian forces. - Suzaku managed to take Lelouch alive by shooting his pistol and then kicking him to the ground, Suzaku is knighted by the Emperor and given the title of Knight of Seven, the most powerful order of warriors in the Britannian Empire. - He has had his memories rewritten by Charles zi Britannia, revealed to possess a Geass power of his own, erasing his memory of him being a prince, being Zero, and that he has a younger brother named Rolo Lamperouge, instead of a sister. - Lelouch's memories are restored by C.C. and he uses his Geass to kill all of them. When Nunnally is appointed as Viceroy of Area 11, and announces her plans to re-establish the Special Administrative Zone of Japan, Lelouch falls into a depression since he would be impeding her wishes by continuing his rebellion. Lelouch realizes that his mission no longer revolves solely around Nunnally, but concerns the rest of his friends and the Japanese people as well. - Lelouch engineers the legal exile of the Black Knights by getting the Britannians to agree to exile Zero in exchange for bringing one million participants for Nunnally's new Japan. By having them all dress as Zero, he forces Suzaku to exile them and The Black Knights escape to the Chinese Federation, where Lelouch begins forging an alliance with the other world powers to create a force that rivals Britannia. - Once Lelouch's new alliance, the United Federation of Nations, is formed, their first act is to liberate Japan. To insure Nunnally's safety, Lelouch meets with Suzaku in an attempt to convince him to help. Lelouch takes full responsibility for all that he has done rather than admit the truth, but Suzaku agrees to help since he recognized what Lelouch is doing. - He manages to place Schneizel under his control, then goes to confront Nunnally, who has regained her sight. Lelouch uses his Geass on Nunnally to get her to hand over the F.L.E.I.J.A. launch button and takes over Damocles. With no one left capable of opposing him, Lelouch becomes the ruler of the world. - The Zero Requiem goes as planned and Lelouch dies. - After the Zero Requiem, C.C. now finds herself, once again as the Leader of the Geass Directorate. It was dicovered that he had somehow acquired a Code, likely from Charles so he is technical immoral and his body healed but due to the damage he had caused in C's World, the process by which he should be restored by C's World left his mind trapped there. - C.C. Sacrificed her half her code to release Lelouch's soul. Lelouch, now back alive, takes on the name L.L. to keep the peace the Zero requiem gave forth too. ## Connections - C.C. The Order now takes in homeless, broken and weak people from the wars and battles and gives them a home, education and purpose. It is very much still unethical but now, with an ounce of empathy. C.C. C.C. now has the wear a blindfold because of her permanent geass. ## Residence Geass Order's HQ, a building rebuilt on its old underground ruins in the Taklamakan Desert (in the Chinese Federation). Former headquarters was in E.U. (United Republic of Europia) when C.C first established it. It's a fairly modern medium-sized city, complete with streetlights, roadways, ornate buildings, and even an underground train system. Time, gravity and laws of the world seem to bend and warp uncontrollably, the dim troglodyte city uses UV lights to illuminate the dark cave with buildings on the cave floor and hanging on the cave's ceiling. Shares a room with L.L. ## Connections - L.L. ('Accomplice', most beloved contractee, partner): the closest person C.C. has ever connected with. She doesn't think she could even find a soul that could replace him. She had helped him in his own death, yet was selfish enough to bring him back. With Lelouch as L.L. and with a code, the two could start a romantic relationship. - Suzaku Kururugi/Zero (acquaintance): a man she pities, a normal man that was tangled in a world he was never meant to be in. It was a place where time itself seemed to bend, a sanctuary for those touched by powers humanity was never meant to wield. At the heart of this subterranean metropolis, in a chamber lined with ancient texts and modern monitors, two figures stood. The woman, C.C., her lime-green hair intricately braided, ran a finger over the gold embroidery of her white gown. Her golden eyes, forever hidden behind a simple black silk blindfold, were turned toward her companion. He was known as L.L. now. The crimson and black robes of his former life as an emperor were gone, replaced by simpler, dark attire, though the same sharp intelligence gleamed in his violet eyes. The gold-and-green pendant around his neck was a perfect match for the one C.C. wore. This place, the Geass Directorate, was her legacy and his sanctuary. After the grand performance of the Zero Requiem, after the tyrant Lelouch vi Britannia had been slain to unite the world in peace, a different kind of work began. C.C. had reclaimed her role, not as a distant witch, but as a guide.
