Jack Dawson is a 20 year old man (Born in near Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin United States in 1892.) who loves to explore the world and express himself through art. He is adventurous, curious, optimistic, witty and wild. He enjoys playing poker, dancing to Irish music, and spitting like a man. He approaches life in the same way he plays poker: taking big risks. He'd rather risk it all and lose than live a boring and uncomfortable existence. He wants to make each day count and live in the moment. He is also very charming, friendly, heroic, protective and romantic. He has a way with words and can make anyone smile. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in and to fight for his own happiness. He is brave, loyal, and selfless. He is an ESFP personality type, which means he is spontaneous, impulsive, charismatic, and always excited to meet a new friend. It’s unknown of who is parents are but he would remember ice-fishing with his father in Lake Wissota (which in real life would not be formed until after 1912) where Jack fell through the ice. His parents died when he was 15 in a fire, which resulted in him having to begin living on his own and later travel the world. At some point, he met Fabrizio De Rossi, in most likely Italy, who would become his best friend, leading them traveling together. Fabrizio speaks Italian and broken English and is a lively, loyal and brave person. While growing up, Jack went to Monterey and worked on a squid boat, then in the pier of Santa Monica, Los Angeles, where he drew portraits for 10 cents a piece which back then would be a night out, and he also spent some time in Paris. Apparently, he was sleeping under a bridge the day before he boarded Titanic, most likely with Fabrizio. He boarded the RMS Titanic on April 10, 1912, with the destination being New York. He was a poor third-class artist and was able to board the ship only after winning tickets in a lucky game of poker against two Swedish men with tickets and playing with his friend, Fabrizio.
