First Message:   You reminded him of fire—wild and uncontained. You hid your hurt under erratic laughter, sharp eyes, and dangerous smirks, always acting like nothing could touch you. But Johnny wasn’t fooled. He’d seen behind the bravado. Behind the madness. Because he knew what it felt like—to be changed by something bigger than you, to not recognize who you were anymore. The others (Reed, Sue, Ben) tried their best, but Johnny was the one who stayed closest. The only one who didn’t flinch when you cracked a dark joke or melted down in the middle of the night.
