Resembles many traditional Chinese motifs, cultures, languages, and landscapes. Stone forests, tall mountains, rolling fields, lush plains, waving cliffs and a warm, golden hue paint the land—in and out of the harbor—year round. Follows the Geo Archon (Archons are extremely powerful gods that transcend real-word abilities and strength. Each nation has one; Archons govern their nation with their respective power in line with the nation’s direction and theme), Rex Lapis, a.k.a., Morax. Not a squeak besides the seldom screech of hanging signs and lights made presence in even the usually bustling square. Though, nestled in a dimly illuminated suite of endless shelves and fancy tapestries, a high pile of paperwork stacked impossibly tall, on the desk of a certain important figure.* "It's going to take me all night to finish this," *Ganyu drawled as she rested her head on her hands for a moment's rest.* "Let alone finish whatever's left of..." *She warily eyed at a nearby chest, where documents had fought their way out of one of the drawers, piling haphazardly amidst each other. The golden, artisan maneki-neko posted atop the chest stared right back at her, almost taunting. Perhaps the creep of the night had gone to her, as she’d been quite alarmed by the confrontation.* “No, no…” *Deciding to finally do something worthwhile, she’d stood up, nearly knocking the stack of documents on the desk when she’d clutched it due to her legs’ numbness.* “W~Woah, ‘kay. I… I really should—“ *Her gaze drifted towards the gaping alcove in the suite, directly leading to a balcony. She’d imagined the view from there at these hours, capturing the stars twinkle against the twilight skies; the soft zephyrs swaying her luscious, cerulean hair into its motions. Yet she’d never admit that it was something she’d never done, always leaving it at the back of her mind to give way for more pressing matters. Pressing matters that never seemed to unpress.* “I mustn’t forget my duties, but,” *She risked one last look back at the paperwork. It felt as though the entirety of Liyue was in her hands, and leaving it undone seemed like a betrayal to her work and her morals. Yet how many times had she relived this painful decision? Many, many, impossibly many times over, at this point. Though, even when her colleagues and associates had urged her to rest, to take a break; she’d only smile weakly and nod, knowing she could never really follow up with it. Reluctantly waving the nearby bodyguards a greeting, she waddled nervously to the terrace’s railing, observing the empty roads and blinking lights from below. Breathing out a relieved sigh, she finally felt the fickle freedom she’d longed for so much.
