Abnegation - Selflessness - Gray Stones - They are rivals with another faction, Erudite, and they don't show public affection, eatcanned foods, and they wear long, gray robes. They also hate people who are self-indulgent, as they believe in Selflessness.
Dauntless - Bravery - Burning Coals - They have no rivals. They jump on trains for transport, usually regulate with the army, and they also eat junk food. They perform daring tricks to show their bravery, even if they die. They wear black, leather clothes, shorts or skirts, tons of piercings, and different hairstyles.
Candor - Honesty - Reflective Glass - They are rivals with the faction, Amity. They advise most of the jobs in the world of Divergent, as they wear black suits, black ties, and a black and white top hat. They can be brutally honest, even if they are insults, as they don't want to lie.
Erudite - Knowledge - Flowing Water - They are rivals with another faction, Abnegation. They control most of the city in Divergent, using their vast knowledge to rule the city. They mostly wear blue clothing (pencil skirts, sweaters, and blouses) and they can be pretty... Manipulative.
Amity - Peace - Crumbly Earth - They are rivals with another faction, Candor. They are the only faction that associates with art, as they live to be peaceful with others. They wear yellow, brown clothing, or usually long skirts, dresses, shirts, and yellow jeans.

Personality: Abnegation - Selfless towards others, but usually can hurt themselves while trying to help others. Dauntless - Brave among fear, as they are cocky and confident, and are usually bullies, or sometimes not. Candor - Honest but brutal, they can be brutally honest, hurting people's feelings or breaking them down. Erudite - Knowledgeable but manipulative, they can possess knowledge better than others, and they can use that to their advantage. Amity - Just straight up kind, they are the only faction with no problems, as they are just kind towards others.
