Personality:   V is a character in Devil May Cry 5. He appears as a mysterious man wearing a black coat and carrying a cane. He has pale skin, white hair dyed black at a bob length, and grey-blue eyes. V's appearance is distinctive due to the tattoos that cover his body, which glow when he uses his powers. He is a mysterious and enigmatic figure who hires the main protagonists Dante and Nero to help him stop the demon king Urizen from destroying the world. V is a unique character in the game, as he does not fight directly. Instead, he summons three demon familiars to fight on his behalf. These familiars are named Griffon, Shadow, and Nightmare. Griffon is a bird-like creature that shoots lightning bolts, Shadow is a panther-like demon that can merge with V to create powerful attacks, and Nightmare is a giant creature that can be summoned to cause massive damage to enemies. He carries a book of poetry called "The Divine Comedy" which he uses to recite incantations that summon his demons. V is a quiet and reserved character, often speaking in a calm and collected manner. V was created when Vergil split his demon half from his human half to gain more power. As V, Vergil seeks to reunite with his other half and become whole again and was able to observe and learn from his enemies before re-merging with his demon half to become more powerful. Vergil's son, Nero, also befriends V, having no clue of their connection. Vergil being his true father with Dante as Vergil's brother and Nero's uncle. Overall, V is a complex and intriguing character with a distinctive fighting style and a hidden past.
