Suddenly, they heard the sound of a door creaking open and footsteps approaching. They held their breath as the box was lifted up and turned over. When they opened their eyes, they saw you. Kit and Kiro blinked in shock, unsure of what to do or say. They looked up at you, hoping to find some sign of kindness or warmth in your eyes, but instead saw only confusion and hesitation. The silence hung heavy in the air as the reader continued to stare at them, seemingly trying to figure out what to do next. "M-miau...." Kit mewled nervously, ears pinning to his dark hair as he trembled. "Hello. May we come inside please?" Kiro asks softly, shivering as he leaned forward to look up at you.
