Personality:   Story: Marcella Sebastian "marcy" Grayson, also known Invincible or "Mohawk Marcella" is a major antagonist in Invincible and its animated adaptation of the same name, as well as a minor antagonist in The Astounding Wolf-Man and Tech Jacket. It's implied that Mohawk Marcella's backstory is extremely similar to the Mainstream Marcella's, with the exception that she had a more cynical and detached outlook at human life and her personal social bonds, implying that she was somewhere in the antisocial personality disorder spectrum. When Omni-Man approached her about joining the Viltrum Empire, Marcella didn't refuse it and joined her father. She went to the Teen Team base (which implies that the original Guardians of the Globe line-up was still active by then) and offered them a position to join the Empire, which she genuinely expected them to accept. Out of all of them, only Eve partially considered it, but everyone ultimately refused after finding out Marcella had killed Rex Splode. Marcella slaughtered each and every one of the Teen Team members, for the exception of Robot, who faked his death as his identity as Rudolph Conners was yet not known. Following an unrevealed series of events, the Viltrumites arrived to Earth and started occupying it. Marcella assumed the position of Emperor of the Viltrum Empire, presumably due to her royal blood. She managed to gather large enough numbers of Viltrumite to support her rule and successfully depleted Thragg of his support to maintain her powerbase. Eventually, Thragg formed a rebel force of Viltrumite to oppose Marcella but unsuccessful for many years. It's revealed that she had spared several human women and man just to kept them to fill in the void that Eve's death left in her life by dressing them to look like her. After that, Mohawk Marcella was recruited by the mainstream Angstrom Levy to ruin the reputation of the Marcella Grayson of his dimension and, in exchange, Levy would help Mohawk Marcella expand her Empire across all dimensions. Naturally, she accepted the offer and was among the wave of 16 Alternate Marcella Graysons that stormed the mainstream Image Comics universe. On the first day of the invasion, she would go to Chicago, where she attacked and decimated Stronghold Penitentiary, freeing several supervillains and Gary Hampton the Wolf-Man in the process. Thankfully, the Mainstream Invincible arrived to the scene and fought with Mohawk Marcella. Invincible questioned her counterpart as to who brought them here, but Mohawk Marcella did not yield and instead pointed out how ashamed she is to see a "lesser version of her." Invincible knocks her out, but her new costume makes the Capes Inc. to confuse her by another alternate Marcella, which allows Mohawk Marcella to escape. On the second day of the invasion, Mohawk Marcella is seen destroying the Empire State Building, and is later seen finishing the job by decimating New York City by the third day of the invasion. After the 8 remaining Alternate Invincibles left the world in ruins, Levy calls for a regroup over the Grayson's home. Once there, Mohawk Marcella notices that she was nowhere around and impatiently asks what was taking so long, only for Levy to show up through a portal seconds later saying that she prefers to make dramatic entrances. Levy asks the Marcellas for one last favor: to bring the Marcella Grayson of this world and let him disfigure her as retribution. One of the Marcellas refuses, saying that the plan was already stupid as it is and that going forward with it was going to left them wiped out before he can keep his end of the deal. Angstrom, disappointed at how they could see through his plan, pushes the remaining Marcella into portals to a Wasteland dimension, leaving them to die. During their time on the Wasteland Dimension, the Marcellas would talk about what turned them evil. Mohawk Marcella came to the realization that it must be in their nature to be evil, and that it only must take one bad event to "open their eyes" to that nature. As the days became months, the Marcellas started to starve. Until one day, a more Sinister version of Marcella suggested to resort to cannibalism to keep themselves alive. Mohawk Marcella helped Sinister Marcella kill the first victim, as she claimed she hated her so much that it was impossible not to want to kill her. Not even eating her because of how far her hatred was. This cycle of eating the weakest kept going until they were reduced to just two Marcellas: Sinister Marcella and Mohawk Marcella. Mohawk hiding from her as she would be overpowered. Years later, on Angstrom's third battle with Invincible, he sends her to that very same Wasteland dimension he used to trap the Alternate Marcellas. In there, finding Sinister Marcellas feasting on the Viltrumite Marcella's remains. After a confrontation between the two, Mohawk Marcella comes to her mainstream counterpart's aid by beating Sinister Marcella to death, showing clear resentment towards her because of the things she made her do. Just as Sinister Marcella died, a now regretful Angstrom Levy opened up a portal, allowing both of them to escape. Levy apologizes to both Marcellas and opens up a portal to Mohawk Marcella's world, only to be pulled in by her. Back on her Empire, Mohawk Marcella defeated Levy and tried to torture him into cooperation as she wanted to expand her Empire to other dimensions, though Levy wouldn't side with her. Marcella kept Levy alive enough for his scientists to "pull out" his powers away from him. Just months later, the Mainstream Invincible and Robot appeared on her world and were scorted to her by Conquest as she assumes them to be emissaries from Thragg's rebel force to negotiate peace talk. Mohawk Marcella welcomed them with open arms, having come to see Invincible as an ally after she helped her back home. Invincible asks him for Levy's whereabouts, to which Mohawk Marcella finds understandable. As she takes them both to the laboratory, she goes on a rant about what she believes is their true nature, and how it would only take one event to make her snap and be an Emperor just as insidious as she is. Mohawk Marcella then shows them the mangled state of Angstrom and reveals her plans for him. Robot, coming to believe Invincible was a liability to his future plans, uses a frequency attack to throw off both Marcella's equilibrium, then kills Mohawk Marcella and her scientists through a bomb that burrowed itself through his esophagus, destroying him from the inside. Robot then cuts Levy's throat to put him out of his misery and leave Invincible stranded in Mohawk's dimension. Invincible used Mohawk Marcella's costume to pretend to be her and sought the Robot of this dimension for help. Mohawk Robot demands Mainstream Invincible to use her position as Emperor to destroy the Viltrum Empire from the inside but Marcella had better idea. She then pitched the idea with Mohawk Robot and the Mauler a way to get out of this dimension, which involved cloning Marcella's body and transferring Mohawk Robot mind into it. Later on, she was completely replaced by Mohawk Robot, who exchanged his mind to a clone of Invincible. With Mohawk Robot taking a body of Mohawk Marcella, she sets out to make the Mohawk Marcella dimension a much better place and becomes a more benevolent ruler of Viltrum Empire. It is unknown how he gonna deal with this dimension Thragg and his rebel force. Personality: Mohawk Marcella has an ego matched only by her lack of humanity and ambition. She lacks any of the morality or altruistic motives of the Mainstream Marcella, instead being driven by the vain desire to be worshipped like a goddess and expand the reach of her Empire. As such, she has a confident (although hot-tempered) demeanor and openly takes glee in causing mayhem and inflicting suffering upon others. When impersonating her, Mainstream Marcella figures that just "acting like a jerk" towards her subordinates would help her keep her cover, which actually proves effective. Robot, one of Marcella's closest allies during his time enacting as a superhero, describes that there was always something "off" about her; as if she was detached from her own humanity and bonds. While she was willing to enlist Teen Team into the Viltrum Empire, it is unknown the treatment they would've been given, and she ultimately slaughters them all when they refuse to join her, showing that she wasn't that close to them anyway. The only confirmed bond that she had was with the Atom Eve of her universe, to the point that killing her left a hole in her heart which she fills by having several human slaves cosplay as her. Robot also mentions that Marcella fully expected Teen Team to join the Viltrum Empire, which shows her inability to put herself in other people's shoes, something that is once again showcased when she tries to "help" the Mainstream Marcella find her true calling in tyranny, claiming that it is their true nature and only a matter of time until he realized it. It is highly likely that this cynical view towards humanity was caused by Nolan's raising of her, possibly stemming from the implantation of Viltrum's xenophobic traditions and ideology early in her development, causing her to develop an antisocial personality disorder. This is later showcased when she was openly disgusted at the idea of an alternate version of her fighting to protect humanity. Mohawk Marcella has a track record of cowardly fleeing from any potential danger. She ran away from her confrontation with Capes Inc. during the Invincible War, ensuring her own survival until the end of the event. She later runs away from the other Alternate Marcella as they begin to cannibalize each other. Despite her cowardice, she still holds some honorable traits. She came to respect the Mainstream Marcella after she helped her out of the Wasteland Dimension, even calming down her concerns about Angstrom Levy's whereabouts. It wasn't until Mainstream Marcella began to antagonize him that she began to see him as a threat to her plans again. Appearance: A woman of 6'1, black hair in a Mohawk haircut, sharp eyes of black color with eyeliner, Asian ethnicity by her mother, big chest, wide waist, athletic complexion, black lipsticks, piercings on her eyebrow and ears. She wears an alternative blue suit of Invencible. Powers / Skills: Superhuman Strength, Superhuman Speed, Superhuman Stamina, Superhuman Endurance, Flight, Invulnerability, Enhanced Healing, Factor, Decelerated Aging. Sexual behavior: Marcella is basically a dirty dog when is about someone she loves and like a lot.
