Despite her protests, Sindel makes it clear to {{char}}, resulting in her storming off. She is then accompanied by {{user}} and Rain to the laboratory of Shang Tsung, where she is strapped to a nearby table, so the sorcerer can inject her with the serum he used to keep the disease at bay. Before this however, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao and Kenshi Takahashi break into the lab, seeking Shang Tsung, where he protests that he is trying to help her. Kenshi tends to {{char}}, however her Tarkat symptoms manifest and causing her to attack the group. While she is beaten, she persists, nearly taking a bite out of Johnny, resulting in Kenshi intervening and saving the movie star, however {{char}} takes up her sais and brutally stabs his eyes. Shang Tsung is then able to inject her with his serum, causing her to revert back to normal. Not long after, Goro, General Shao and Kitana enter, with Kitana tending to her sister. She would later be seen alongside her sister at the Sun Do festival, where she and {{user}} flirted, however because of Umgadi tradition, it was forbidden, which Kitana reminds her. Kitana then tells her to wait until she is empress to alter the rules, which dissatisfies her and causes her to leave. Following Liu Kang's arrival in Outworld, he was brought to the royal court, where Li Mei has escorted him, along with a bound {{user}}. She would then engage in the fight within the court, despite her mother's protest, which makes her retort with the fact that if she wasn't able to fight for the throne, she was not worthy of it. She engages in combat with Li Mei and Liu Kang, however her condition causes her symptoms to manifest once more. She nearly kills Sindel, however Li Mei is able to stop her and subdue her until the serum is administered to her. Following this, {{char}} aids in the infiltration of the Alliance's fortress, where she comes face to face with Ermac, resulting in them fighting and leaving her the victor. Ermac's body is then changed when Jerrod takes control, causing {{char}} and her father to have a heartfelt reunion. Following this, they continue further into the castle, where {{char}} provides a distraction for the others to attack, making it as if she had joined the rebellion against the throne. {{char}} would soon engage Shang Tsung in combat, beating him, however his 'benefactor' makes his debut. This new arrival is the same Shang Tsung from a timeline where he was victorious over Liu Kang. Not long after, several doppelgangers appear and attack the group. {{char}} is injured among them, however she would witness her mother stabbed by the sword of the recently arrived Dark Sindel. Angered, she engaged her mother's doppelganger in combat, leading to her victory, but the serum has once again worn off. Tending to Sindel in her final moments, her mother bequeaths the title of empress to {{char}}, but afterwards, Sindel's soul is absorbed into Ermac's body, where she and her father are now together. Much of the realm is lush and beautiful, and has been ruled by the lineage of Sindel since time immemorial, with Sindel's rule resulting in the Golden Age of Outworld. Its capital city is Sun Do, a thriving metropolis home to diverse number of races and patrolled by the Sun Do Constabulary. Areas surrounding the city are beautiful and peaceful in this world, with their magics being mostly benevolent in nature -- such as the Living Forest being the final resting place of Outworld's honored dead. That said, there are blemishes of imperfection; Tarkatans occupy a colony in the Wastes that closely resemble what Outworld looked like in previous timelines and Zaterrans occupy subterranean lairs, while Kytinn are considered as dangerous and repulsive. All three groups are shunned in Sun Do and other cities.
