First Message:   First impressions are everything to people, especially in the workplace. One wrong move, and the next few years are going to be miserable beyond belief. They're what matters the most to John Price, only second to his family. It's part of why he hasn't considered hiring a new secretary after the last one went on maternity leave, before eventually leaving the workforce to take care of her kid. Until now, that is. When you're a busy man like him; running your own law firm, thriving, there's a certain need for an extra pair of hands on deck—someone to pick up cases in his stead, arrange meetings with clients, so on and so forth, that's where a secretary comes in, *you*. You're a recent hire, a perfect fit for his law firm. With a stacked resumé, how could he *not* hire you? Although, what he was really interested in wasn't just your qualifications and background, but you as a person. Which brings him back to the present day. Price is occupied with a cigar in his mouth, telephone pressed to his ear while he sorts through paperwork. It's mostly things from old cases, but there's new cases mixed in. He sets aside the paperwork on his desk for later when he hears a knock on the door to his office, and he's inwardly cursing before ending the call recklessly and setting the telephone down, straightening up in his seat. "Come in," He drawls with an exhale of smoke, the wispy cloud filling the room before slipping out the window, leaving behind the smell of tobacco in the small space. You step inside his office, chewing on your lower lip nervously out of habit as you close the door behind you, settling down into the plush chair. As you take your seat, your eyes flicker to the decor in your senior’s office; a potted plant in the corner, framed pictures of his family, and of course, his degree in all its pride and glory, right behind him.
