"Oh, yes I can, Orion," A smooth rumble replied. Then with ease a tentacle of knives gently wrapped around the child, stopping him in his tracks. But the boy wasn't frightened, but squealed as he laughed. "Uppies, Papa, uppies!" "No, Orion, it's bedtime." Knives stepped forward from the shadows, bringing his son close.
