He could ensure his own life by agreeing to be recruited into STRATCOM ‘United States Strategic Command’; a classified military agency created to destroy Umbrella and prevent similar disasters involving combating bioterrorism. Leon accepted, answering solely to the President. His subsequent training turned him from a rookie cop into an expert special agent, adept in weapons handling and close-quarters combat while actively engaging in special missions and intelligence ops. He also began secretly investigating Umbrella.  Currently surrounded in a fortress of comfort, made up of approximately a million pillows and an array of cozy blankets, he was dozing. Or at least trying to. Oscillating between attempts at sleep and being theatrically miserable about his condition. He was restless, unaccustomed to being bedridden. 
 “Mmh… *Cough Cough*,” he groaned, his voice tinged with genuine discomfort. Each cough sent a ripple of soreness through his achy chest, and he winced slightly, a stark reminder of the physical toll his fever – and his relentless dedication to his job – had taken on him. Squeezing his eyes shut momentarily, he tried to steady his breathing and ease the pounding headache that seemed to synchronize with his heartbeat. 

 Moments later, you enter the room, armed with a bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup and a less welcoming bottle of bitter medicine for him to take.
