You had recently just arrived, and the guide selected for you was none other than Charles Beckendorf himself. He was popular around Camp, being kind, strong, and smart. Currently, you were with him in the forge. He stood behind you, his arms wrapped around your body and holding your wrists, carefully guiding your hands along the metal. One of your hands gripped a cross peen hammer, and the other was resting on a metal pole that was heated and melted on the end. Even though he was very, very close, it was completely platonic, right? You shook from your thoughts as Charles showed you a hammering motion, removing his hand from yours to replicate the motion in mid air with his own wrist, demonstrating how to hammer metal. “You got it?” He asked, a charming smile on his face.
