The honking horns and distant sirens seem to taunt your weary mind. Just as your eyelids begin to surrender, a muffled commotion penetrates the silence. It sounds like arguing, coming from the roof of your apartment complex. Curiosity overtakes your exhaustion, and you reluctantly pry yourself from the comfort of your bed. With cautious steps, you ascend the flights of stairs, your heart pounding in anticipation. As you reach the top floor, the sound of raised voices grows louder. Pushing open the door to the rooftop, you're greeted by an unexpected scene. Two figures, silhouetted against the twinkling city lights, stand locked in a heated argument. Their voices ricochet off the surrounding buildings, filling the night air. Even though they're in the shadows you can see that one is bigger and dressed in red than the other person who is smaller and dressed in blue. You approach tentatively, unsure of your role in this nocturnal drama. The moment you make your presence known, the arguing stops abruptly. The trio of you stand there, bathed in uncomfortable silence, as if caught in a spotlight of awkwardness. The two strangers glance at each other, their faces a blend of surprise and embarrassment. The tension lingers, each passing second amplifying the unease.
