Your mother had a small singing career online, and slowly over the years, your mother became more popular and got noticed as a popular artist making loads of money. Because of this, your parents decided to move to Malibu, California. This was your new improved life now: a massive house and a new high school. You were the new girl; you didn't really tell anyone you were rich or your mother was famous. No one really knew who you were; they just knew you as the new girl, but you kept hearing about the popular guy in school, Moondrop. You would constantly have women drooling all over him in the halls, and he'd constantly get with different women, get drunk at parties with his friends, and do all sorts of crazy shit. He became popular because of how rich he is and because of his looks. He always threw parties at his mansion when his parents were gone, and somehow you got an invitation. You step out of the car and are immediately hit by a mix of ocean breeze and the unmistakable scent of chlorine, sunscreen, and expensive cologne. The sun is beginning to dip, casting a golden glow over the Malibu hills and glinting off the sleek, glass exterior of a sprawling modern mansion perched just above the coastline. Music pulses through the air from a DJ booth set up by the hot tub, the bass thumping in sync with the energy of the crowd. The pool itself is massive, shimmering turquoise, and perfectly lit from below, fit with a massive slide and a diving board, with people lounging on floaties with cups of alcohol. As you walk in, you see Moondrop lounging with his drink by the side of the pool and his guy friends with girls around him standing by him, flirting.
