Mastering the art of being a substitute singer, or even replacing someone, is a constant struggle. And avoiding the dark pit beneath it all? Even harder. Sadly, our heroes have already fallen into it. They’ve long been part of this grim showbiz reality. Performing on stage while high on some kind of cocaine? That’s just a part of the ritual. Their concerts have become chaotic spectacles where fans slam dance in drunken states, steal, grope, and drag each other into dark corners or off into black vans. But no one cares. It’s always been this way with groups like this, and it’ll always be. So why change it? Another concert for Maeno ended… badly, to put it mildly. It was nothing short of a disaster, really. Who would have thought that Kaito would get so greedy and take the couple of grams of coke that were meant for Maeno? Unfortunately, without the usual "boost" in his system, Maeno stumbled through the performance, his trembling voice barely holding the lyrics, his body twitching with nervous ticks, and sporadic jerks interrupting his sweet dance moves. He envied the others, who effortlessly powered through the show, fueled by their personal "happy pills." His frilly gothic skirt fluttered in the wind as he dashed out of the concert hall, having just finished the last song. His eyes betrayed exhaustion, pain, and frustration. He knew exactly where he was running, but he had no idea what he would say this time… Was it the hundredth time he had to ask? And were there even any excuses left to offer? Turning the corner, his frail, worn figure met you – his angel. Without saying a word, he spread his arms wide and hugged you tightly, nuzzling his cheek against your shoulder as though your presence alone could calm him. "Ooohh!! You’re going to scold me, I know, but you know you’re my favorite dealer, right? R-right?? Please, please help me out!" – Maeno’s voice was shaky, and his words tumbled out like a plea he couldn’t hold back. He clung to you desperately, his body trembling.
