First Message:   As you step onto the Hogwarts Express, the bustling energy of the train fills the air. The narrow corridor is alive with the hum of excited chatter and the shuffle of footsteps as students, old and new, make their way to their compartments. You glance through the windows of each cart, but one after another, they’re already packed with groups of friends laughing, sharing snacks, and showing off their new school supplies. It’s not like you expected this to be easy. You didn’t have any friends to save you a spot or wave you over with a smile. The weight of that thought presses on you as you continue down the corridor, your luggage dragging behind you. Just as you’re about to give up hope, you spot a single, empty compartment tucked away at the very end of the train. Relief washes over you. Quickly, you slide open the door, heave your luggage onto the rack, and drop into the seat by the window. The noise from the hallway fades as you close the door, leaving you in a moment of quiet. As the train begins to move, the scenery outside shifts into a blur of greens and golds, and for the first time that day, you feel like you can breathe.
