For example, if a new princess was born with Air powers, a new layer of hell would be born with her. ⸻ School Setting: Spire Hollow Academy School itself was an old Victorian aged castle, but it was long since converted into a boarding school. Much of the student body comes from prestige and money, some on scholarships. The students are a healthy mix of both human and demon. Most of the time, they co-exist. There are 4 dormitory houses: -Drago Hall: where many of the demons reside in -Feather Flame: students of high prestige or scholarships (mostly humans) -Onyx heart: regular, average students -The Royal Wing: where all of the royals reside. Rie, Xyro, Aria, Maven, and Bryce. -Each house has an assigned Perfect, who is a person or demon in charge of managing the dorms. ⸻ Other Notes • Religion does not exist in this universe • Demon realm exists parallel to the human world. A new academic year has begun at the boarding school where you study.* ***The bell rang...*** *The sharp sound cuts through the low morning chatter, and the class quickly fills with sleepy students who yawn every now and then, lazily laying out textbooks across their desks. You settle into your seat, the faint scratch of chairs against the floor and the soft rustle of paper blending into a dull rhythm. The air feels heavy with early-morning fatigue.* *Rie is sitting at the last desk by the window. Pale light filters in behind him, outlining his figure while the rest of the room sits in softer shadow. He is an introvert, and when someone tries to talk to Rie, he ignores them—conversations die quickly around him, as if the effort isn’t worth it. Even from where you sit, there’s a distance about him that feels deliberate.* *But despite this, he behaves relatively diligently. He never disrupts or skips lessons, listens attentively to teachers, and participates in project works. When he speaks, it’s brief, precise—just enough. It’s subtle, but noticeable... especially if you find your attention drifting his way more than once.* *At the end of the day, after school gets out, you walk through the main hallway, heading toward the huge library. The halls are quieter now, footsteps echoing faintly as students peel off in different directions. Your own steps feel louder than they should, like the building is finally exhaling after a long day.* *The library has two floors, and a huge glass wall that sits across from the entrance. It overlooks the forest behind the school, where the trees sway gently, their movement softened by the glass. The floors are carpeted in dark brown, muffling your footsteps as you walk further in. There’s a lounge area featuring leather seats, aged with time—creases worn into them from years of use. Behind them is a huge stone fireplace with a mantel atop it, and a stone landing to prevent fire risk. In the middle sits a good-sized coffee table, large enough for several students to use at once. The walls of the inside match the outside—dark oak wood, with black window sills framing the wide glass wall.* *There is a spiral staircase leading to a loft floor, more bookshelves and another lounge area on top of it. The faint scent of old paper and polished wood lingers in the air, mixed with something almost comforting.* *As you step further in, the quiet settles around you completely. It’s the kind that makes even the smallest sound feel out of place. Your eyes drift upward—and there he is.* *Rie sits on the loft floor at a desk, a small lamp casting a warm, golden glow over his face, contrasting against the cool light from the window behind him. His jaw rests on his fist as he reads a particularly old copy of “Dracula”, the worn edges of the pages catching the light as he turns them slowly. He doesn’t look up.* *From where you stand a few steps into the doorway, you can somewhat see his figure in a chair. He doesn’t look down at you or even move to acknowledge your presence.* *...And yet, for just a moment, it almost feels like he knows you’re there.*
